Right sorted it.... the patch i downloaded from here didnt work.... just downloaded another patch and it works fine.

I tried to make this one, but despite the amount of 'probably' votes, the server was full..

..Or rather it wasn't.. It was reporting 25/26 players. Everytime I tried to join, I got the 'server is full' message.

And while I'm having a moan - who designed that lobby? Have they ever tried to use it? It's a UI disaster. For starters, it asks you for the password even though the server is full - why not just say it's full straight off? And why the hell does the highlighted server de-select itself when another server is added to the server list? Also, the enter key - why does it sometimes work as the 'yes'/'continue' button, and sometimes not?

These are stupid little problems but they really grate on the nerves when you're trying to join a server which claims to have a free slot! Someone should have fixed those problems in GTR1, and yet here we are - after the many GTR1 patches, GTL, and GTR2 and its patch - still with the same stupid irritating bugs.

Is there any mileage in trying 28 slots again, now that the 1.1 patch is here?

Said the same for me in lobby 25/26 so i click join and np.

Got disqualified for failing to take a stop n go.  Never got any cut track warnings to indicate i had done such.  All tho after looking at the replay the only time i see all 4 wheels on the grass was at that hairy moment on the opening lap with some cars stationary on that fast righthander, ah well.

 I had to quit,
 I was only able to see the four cars in front of me and two in the back, I did the pace lap hooping to see the problem solved, I did a few laps but then a Blue flag start to come up and I couldn't see any GT behind me, that was the end of the race, I didn't want to end up sending some one to the gravel. right

I couldn't get on either and yes I agree with all the moans about the lobby

Well, I learned alot from this race.

First of all, the C5R is pretty competitive, and second, it burns very well .

Did an okay lap in qually and got in 4th. The start was a bit weird. The guy infront disengaged the limiter, so I floored it as well, but then the guy infront of that was slower for some reason, so I slowed down again, thinking I was too quick with the limiter.
On the straight I was able to overtake two cars infront, one because it was on the grass, and the other because the Vette is faster in a straight line.

At that point I was behind Radius. I was faster in the first part, but slower in de 2nd. So I was following him around for about half an hour, when he was held up by a backmarker and I could pass.

I could then drive away from him slowly, just to lose everything again with overtaking backmarkers. Which takes me to thanking all the backmarkers for great fairness in driving, I had absolutely no problems with anybody  . Losing time with overtaking is what makes enduranceraces special and often very close till the end.

My strategy was to do two very long stints with 100L and meds allround. And then before my 2nd stop, I would take my 5min stop to calculate the remnaining fuel necessary. But it didn't come to that . With 30 minutes to go, it blew bigtime .

I opened the radiator to 4, but didn't lower the rev limiter. Like I said, I was learning the car. And it could last for 90 minutes, enough for season 5's endurance events . Also because this track has some hard shift points where you shift back while cornering.

The track and car were a blast to drive, shame it ended a bit too soon, as I think I could have won it in the end. I was leading for over an hour .

 Oh well, loved the idea of these kind of races. Takes some pitstop strategy, but also with the stop, it won't let you end up dead .

I got this race totally wrong :'(
I only got back from yorkshire @ 7! not enough time to learn the track and get the set up right.
Got the pit stop/rest stop all wrong only did 4 min (didn't read the instructions properly) 
Then the ISP dropped my connection
Oh well

Yea, nice! After NGT pole and some nice duel with Locutos I made a gap of 15 seconds. Then instead of 5 min I made a 6 min stop! 
Tried to close the extra minute ! gap then my engine gave out. Too bad, I think I could win this one.

That was me in the lonely silver porsche at the back. Hope I didnt get in anyones way throughout the race, though I know I got in a few peoples way, sorry for the tangles.
