Sorry Silva,I didn't see your car coming, last time I looked in the mirrors it was still far away. For sure the Vanwall is faster than the Conn.
If I'd have noticed, I'd have let you through. I just wanted to finish.
The 55 cars need the virtual mirror. Some have to little mirror and i have left Igor  2 or 3 times to adjust the cockpit view and to have ,at lest,a decent view of the mirror. They were almost invisible at the start.

Apologies to David for the squeeze , you didn't look that close in my mirrors then I was focused on the corner and got a shock when you suddenly appeared alongside , glad you were able to carry on.

Needless to say I was well chuffed with a (very fluky ) podium finish thanks to all the dippers on this tough track .

Bit ironic I should get p3 after complaining I couldn't go two laps with  out  crashing here .

Thanks for the fun  Roll Eyes

Tough race for me yesterday... I started the weekend confident because the car vas very good and i like a lot this type of track, in fact I secured the pole with a promising gap. The race started without problems but i noticed a strange fuel comsumption. In offline practice i calculated an average of 2.5 l per lap, so i refueled with 57 l to have enough margin, but my engine was drawning more than 3 l per lap, so even if i'would have enough fuel to finish the race i managed to coast as possible and to keep a  pace that allowed me to stay just ahead of Leo without pushing. At the end of lap 6 i was 2 secs ahead of Leo and 15 ahead of Luiz in third and suddenly my engine started misfiring and a light grey smoke came out of the cowl. I don't know if the issues where related but pressures were ok, and temp at 80° Huh. I realized i could continue so my goal was to complete at least the 50% of the race to score some points. 6 laps of agony lapping in 3.00 minutes until the engine muted inside the forest. Happy to get some good points but sad for a probable win.

Congrats to the podium and especially to Bernie for his consistent race rockon

EDIT: I hope I have not hindered anyone during my cruise as a mobile chicane, especially Bernie and David that were fighting for second place. Grin

Sorry Giovanni , I told my mechanic not to put that much sugar in your tank , the idea was just to slow you down a little  Grin

In the 1950's many cars would break down during a GP, as these were experimental cars pushing the limits.  Ours break less, as most do not consider that to be more fun.  But sometimes . . . . Undecided

I have changed the cockpit view on the Vanwall, which has the lowest mirrors. With this, default FOV should be OK for widescreens - virtual mirrors I cannot make.     https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=24882.0

Thank you Martin, now i have found the work of Tommie(TVO). Already applied, could be an help. The ideal could be a virtual mirror divided in 3, with the left and right view but i don't know if this is possible. The specialist at gpl repository is Lee, i could ask him.

It you have 55 virtual mirors, maybe there is an Inet address where they are found?

3 virtual mirrors!  I had a friend who had an Auto-X Bmw, and was faster than me. Undecided  He put a full width multi-rearview mirror in his racer.
I said, "More important is the road ahead, unless you are slow." Cheesy

Thankyou Fran, but I like to be realistic.  I use three things  - car mirrors, ears to hear, and 4 x 3 to see with.  Widescreen needs, 'No letterbox patch.'  Tvo has a Website, so perhaps the Virtual mirrors for 55's are there?  The address may be at SRMZ. Smiley

I've loaded the chassis the drivers used into the token calculator spreadsheet.  For the next race the available tokens will be as declared in the table below (the table will also appear in the next race announcement).  The calculated values are automated but selecting the cars is a manual process so please check your tokens to make sure I haven't made a silly error.
