As a forerunner to Season 1's championship format there will be a GT sprint race in the same format as we are going to run the sprint championship for season 1.

Date: 22nd June
Time: Practice 1 to start at 8:55pm (UK BST)
Server: UKGTR Picnic
Track: Oschersleben
Weather: Dry
Cars: GT only (G2 will be allowed to compete as GT cars as specified in the season 1 format definition)
Practice 1: 5 mins (chat allowed)
Qualifying 2: 15 mins (no chat allowed)
Race: 30 mins (no chat allowed)

Looks likely I'll miss this - my hard disk is on the way out, and it seems unlikely I'll get away without a reinstall of the OS on a new disk  Sad

I do 1.24's, can't get to 1.23, in racey trim lister. Stiil a second outside simbin benchmark.
I lose time around fast chicaney thing before last two corners. I suppose I should be
slower in to corner but can not resist accelerating on that little straight.

A few drivers on my buddy list have times in the low 1:22s, struggle to break into the high 1:23s myself.
