I've done 10 laps in an offline race, but with only my car on track so maybe that's not a fair test?

I have tried it since I first posted about a CTD & did not have any more problems. Did around 10 laps in both the 1000 & 1275 Minis without any glitches.

If you do off line testing, make sure that you do private testing. I have more than once found that AI might cause crashes even though the track is rock solid in online races.
As the race is so close and I did not have time to make the changes in lunch break, We race on track as originally planned.
So, race invitation is OK. No Changes coming.

Good racing tonight, Albert Park is usually good fun to be fair.....
Race 1 in the Sunbeam, had to be really on it to take pole, but blew an even quicker lap right at the end....Was enough though, but Manfred was closer than practise by a long way so knew it would be full on.
And so it proved, I did get a gap up to 4 seconds or so at one point, but a bit of traffic along with a couple of average laps meant he was only 1.8 behind as we crossed the line going onto the last lap. I put together my best 2 sectors 1 & 2 on the final lap and that was good enough to hold him off.
Escort 1300 for race 2, and although it went quite well in quali I was a good way off the pace Geoff had, so had a nagging suspicion things might be hard work in the race.
Good start, but not as good as Dan who rocketed off the line in the NSU. Nevertheless, I was now 4th, and was content to follow Dan and Geoff if they were going to go fast enough. They got together a little in turn 1 though, and I could go through the middle with my momentum as my corner was clean, but I think I nudged Geoff on the way, sorry Geoff. As recompense I didn't fight him at all when he zoomed up behind, it was almost like he was in the higher class, so I knew I was slow.
Then Manfred ate up the time to be right on my tail. He was a lot quicker in certain sections of the track, and I realised the gearing on my car was wrong. Nothing to do other than defend, and I held him off for around 5 laps or so, but eventually he had enough of an overlap down the inside that he couldn't be held back, and I couldn't stay with him. Acceleration was the difference off the corners, so the gearing needs to be shorter I believe, ah well. Immediately Nappe was closing in fast, and I had more defending to do, and probably only took 4th as he got a Stop and Go at the end.
Good nights racing, well done to all.

Apologies to Kurt for the bump at T1. From live i thought he didn't left me space but after watching the replay i can tell that it's more my fault here. I think got it all wrong tonight. I went with slower car in Race 1 and faster in Race 2 and more of the driver done it the other way I had no information that the gaps between the classes in Race 1 are bigger by a mile that the Race 2 gaps so... But at least i got the maximum - 8th in Race 1 and 1st in Race 2, so i will be around 1st place in general standings once again. On my live stream we watch both replays and it was great races - congrats guys. Congrats on Daz for winning Race 1. No problem Dimitar - simply didn't see you coming in my rear mirror and I think I was already hampering you before when I wanted to avoid the slow starting Mini of Geoffers. Not the first time I slaughtered the NSU TTS's engine - looks like a certain weakiness regarding this. Used these races to gain more experience with the NSUs, especially the 1200TT. Like this track driving these small ones Result_Race 1Result_Race 2
