Unfortunately I can’t attend this race meeting on “Staycation” in Mid Wales with our grandson. Missing a race in my favourite Beemer!

It was a very strong race. I tried to manage the tyres wear after some laps behind my team mate bonni, but it was unpossible. By the end of the race the all tyres were passed away so i tried to get the checkered flag. I had an hard, but honest battle with geoff for a lungo time and i m sorry with him if i stopped becouse i was faster then me, but i was just trying to do my best to get the 2nd position. Tnx to all!

Thoroughly enjoyed last night's race. The Opel had good pace in certain areas of the track but really struggled through the Dunlop curve so there were oversteery moments into the inside barrier aplenty.
Well done Bonni, Geoff and Leonardo! Special mention to Birger for getting that Mustang that far up the order.

Again my game crashed, at least this time it was before half way so I at least wasted less time. At that point I was doing OK, almost holding on to JP's shirt tails while slowly making a gap to those battling behind. With the Audi's propensity to destroy tyres that may have changed later in the race.
I uninstalled and resintalled the whole game before last night's race, including removing files from Documents etc., in the vain hope this might cure my problems. Not sure why this one game is playing up on my new PC. So far everything else is working fine (goes off to find some wood to touch)

The balance of this class is non-existent. Since some updates the BMW is complete trash, bouncing all over the place like a kangaroo. What is even the point?

Can't say Pete. perhaps it's an issue with the VR? Try running an event with no VR does it make any difference?
It is getting near to at least 2 new seasons, so I need to think about what cars to run. The FR90 has longer to run, as I duplicated the 2020 season as close as I could.
I would like to run cars that are less quirky. I love the FR90 but they are tough to drive I like the idea of the Touring Classics and the DTM92, but they are not so easy to drive, for me at least.
I want to run some cars that I can drive, and will produce some close racing.
Options would be to change the FR90 mid season to FR2, which are quite fast, and much easier to finish a race with I will do a poll for some choices when I have had a drive of everything. Stephen is running on Sundays soon WTCR 2020 I don't like electric, but The VW IDr might be an option. The CR1 and Silhouette are free and are a good drive, but people seem to turn their noses up at them. NSU have been popular in the past for a slow close race event.
Any ideas before I commit to a vote?

I am with you Toni. The Touring classics and DTM92 have been spoilt in the last downdate in my opinion This is why I am looking for something that "feels" more like a race car.

I resigned myself to hating this before I even started. Yep, I set myself up for a rage quit. It worked... I spent the whole practice and qual, playing with the setup. It was somewhere between my own and the original, when the race started. I was swamped at the start, everyone else has got their starts sorted (grats gents). I completed one and bit laps, then cocked it up all on my own. Grats to the finishers. Can't wait for the next one and more chances to whinge on TS... We all know, we're never happier than when we're complaining and even then we're not best pleased.

Sorry Toni for that nudge at the last corner. Apart from that, really enjoyed it, lots of action. Congrats podium.

Any ideas before I commit to a vote? GT4, Group 4 and 964 as always my 3 fave classes, with the Scirocco now close behind. Not a fan of open-wheelers (except the FJ and maybe Tatuus) or electricars, but I'll happily try anything else.

Good race those Audi's seem to be a little to quick for my liking! off the line they are like rocket ships lol I mean it was nearly all four Audi's in the first four places by the first corner. I was trying my best to keep Pete behind me, great racing with you and gutted your game crashed! on that note what VR system are you running? I had a lot of issues at the start with Oculus Rift S, I found Steam VR to be an utter pain until I now use opencomposite which goes directly to Oculus bypassing Steam VR. Also as I mentioned before I had a dodgy sata cable which didn't show up only in the PC not booting properly as I couldn't get into the bios screen at startup also raceroom kept crashing! if it were me Pete I would check all that and window install, drivers and if you are using steam vr try their betas version if you cant use anything else to see if that helps.
My suggestion Martin would be to run a couple of series on a Thursday like the BMW M series and Audi TT Cup but with fixed setups or even a GT4 class also with fixed setups and then something a bit more serious on a Sunday when there is a bit more time to fiddle doing a setup and maybe pitstops can make a come back.
