Good fight with Leonardo - I got past you several times and every time you fought back immediately at the next corner and retook the position! No problem with the missed gear, just a shame it ended the fight as in braking hard to avoid you I locked up and spun. Fun up to that point however.

first of all grats to Geoff on the championship and the race you were too quick and seem to have a real handle on these cars.

OK race for me was trying my best to catch Geoff but it very easy to over drive these things and make a stupid mistake! I do enjoy this track and thought that this layout really suited this car.

Pete when I was having the same issues with VR I tried everything, check your windows installation, reinstall the VR drivers, I know there is some issues with razer synapse software, maybe try shutting down some programs in the system tray, I had an issue with bullguard anti virus and half-life alyx , had to shut down that program for it to run properly. Are there any issue showing in windows event viewer? have you got the vr plugged into USB 3.1 socket are the USB drivers up to date. I know its a real pain and feels like you are getting nowhere but there must be a logical explanation for it crashing its just finding the bloody thing!

Last 2 races I've actually been using a Quest 2 using AirLink, no cables attached, but before that it was in a USB3 port. Not sure if it was a 3.1 one. I've not spotted anything in Event Viewer although I've not looked again lately. It was about the 1st thing I did check when it first went wrong. Windows Update says everything is up to date and there's nothing funny being reported device wise in Device Manager. Although I'm enjoying the freedom of no cable I think I'm going to uninstall the Oculus software and just have the WMR on the PC and then try again using the Reverb.

The really annoying thing is it ran for almost 2 hours yesterday afternoon, admittedly I wasn't actually going round and round just parked on the side of the track, and then fails after about an hour during the race last night.

Thanks, yes I do generally get on well with FWD, I think it stems from many years racing Minis in GT Legends in the old GamersCrib league.

Good race at Hockenheim, & as John said the layout was well suited to the Scirocco. Was particularly pleased with my qualifying lap time, first time I had managed a 1.42, but I think I was a bit lucky as I was sure I had run too wide exiting T1 but the lap wasn't invalidated so I must have been at the very limit of what was allowed. The race itself was not easy, although I built a 3s lead quite quickly, John upped his pace after a few laps & the gap stayed pretty constant for many laps & I had to drive as hard as I could to maintain it. Only in the last few laps did I extend the lead to the 5s is was at the end.

Congrats to John & Massimo on the podium   & thanks to Matt for organising this series   Hopefully we will revisit these cars in the not too distant future.

I started from sixth position, I thought I could stay there but in the race it was not very fast and to keep the position I played in defense, I didn't want to make life easy for anyone except teammates, but I don't like these cars and RRE as it is I don't like it now. but I like these battles with strong and fair pilot friends.
