There is currently a ranked server up with the P2 and GT cars at Mid Ohio  (raced it today with Chunky, to bad for my spin).

@SRW: did you look at the BOP (because in the ranked server the RRE class gets 50kg and the Radical 15kg.

@all, will someone participate in the wednesday drive at Mid Ohio (P2 + GT)?

I think you mean the DMD which gets the 50kg.

Not tried it yet, but yes I will probably be doing the Wednesday enduro again this week.

For anyone interested here is a video of last weeks RRE enduro at Watkins Glen that I took part in. Was doing quite well in the GTO class until I got 2 drive throughs for pit speeding!  Roll Eyes

Sadly the opencomposite change hasn't fixed anything as the game crashed again last night Sad Still at least it put me out of my misery. I was having problems under braking all race, the car keep trying to swap ends often as I came off the brakes. Plus by the time the game gave up I was over 4 seconds a lap slower than earlier in the race. Even when I seemed up to speed anyone who caught be up breezed passed as if I was in a slower class, and that was still after I upped the engine map to the max.

Wouldn't look forward to running these in a championship, I'd seriously consider not bothering.

I'll try pancake mode on Thursday.

I only have the free cars (DPD and Mistral) and of those only tried the Mistral, so can't comment on the others. The Mistral however was easy to drive if a bit down on power on the straights, just needed a bit of brake modulation into a couple of corners to prevent lockups. It is clearly on very old tyre/suspension physics however, but anyway was a fun race. Spent most of it chasing Geoff after we both had a scruffy couple of laps which let John get away. I'd be ok running them if wanted.

@Toni: I hope I did not cause your spin at T3 on lap 2. I didn't feel or see any touch as I dived past, but we were very close. Hope I did not lag into you or something?

I also found the Mistral easy to drive and would like to race them again. Only problem was the rolling start, previously it was rather a slow lap warming up tyres. Everyone last night seemed to be racing from the start, caught Stephen up on the blind hump into turn one had to brake hard to avoid him. By the time I got up to speed everyone was out of sight so I never caught up for a rolling start!

Other than that I had a good night’s fun, new PB over 4 seconds faster than in  my morning practice.  Cool

All I did with the Radical AER (besides engine map 5) was I dropped the rear wing to 9 (below that it was a bit sketchy) and lowered the final gear for more straight line speed. Seemed OK even with the ballast.

You did divebomb me pretty hard, but I lost the rear on braking. I don't think we touched, so I'll take the L on that one.

Bill you needed to have read post #12 of this thread where Stephen explains what happens at the new RRE rolling start procedure. This was an option added in a recent RaceRoom update.

I have tried 3 cars from this group, the DMD & the two Radicals. The DMD I found to be easy to drive, the Radical AER wasn't too difficult, just a little prone to locking the brakes, the Radical Judd was more tricky as it was prone to locking the rears if you changed down too quickly which could cause a spin.

As Frex said a good race between the two of us but we both had a couple of scrappy laps which allowed John to get away. We both got our act together late in the race & swapped fastest laps & although we gained on John we were never going to catch him before the time ran out.

Congrats to John & Frex.  clap clap

Congrats John, Geoff and frex!!!!

Seemed i didn`t had the pace anymore. I think i changed too much on the setup, turn-in was difficult. Could barelly follow the first 4 cars, until Toni made a mistake. And to avoid him i needed to make a visit with my right tyres in the gravel.

Afterwards driving alone towards a fourth position.
