Had problems installing the missing Windows 10 update, now sorted but have not had a chance to practice and couldn’t find our server in the RRE lobby lunch time. Will try out in practice to see if I remember the track or not!

Was quite enjoying that one, until I noticed my tyres were turning yellow, then flashing red I had taken a default setup and forgot to change to mediums.... Went in the pits, and hit return which cancelled the stop, and then got a stop and go. Ah well was fun while it lasted

Well I made to the end of the race without the game crashing and I didn't get lapped. Had no one to race though as I'm so dog slow in these things. Just too scared to press the loud pedal, the brake pedal or rotate the steering wheel Ran last night using this opencomposite runtime but hadn't realised the other night the screen resolution was really low, 1024x768. Wondering if that's because I used a different monitor. Changed now to a more sensible res and will race on Sunday to test again. Great pace everyone, no idea how you do it

Congrats to John on the win & to Birger in 3rd & bad luck on the freezes Leonardo, you were very fast again. I thought I was going to struggle during practice as I was well off the pace of the front guys but got a pretty good lap in qually. Got a little out of shape at the start & hampered Leonardo a little, sorry, so didn't fight when he took the inside line for T1 & nabbed 2nd. Got it back when he had a half spin at the start of lap 2 & then I spent the rest of the race chasing John. Gap between us hovered around 3-4s all race but without a mistake from John I was not going to catch him, well driven .

Great pace everyone, no idea how you do it Weren't you on the hard tyres? If so you were the only one and that would explain it. I didn't try the softs until I did one quick lap on them early on in qually, and they were clearly 2-3 secs quicker than the Mediums. I guess the difference between Hards and Mediums is about the same.. As for my race, made an embarrassing noob spin off the line (sorry Matt) and hence straight to the back of the pack. Made up a couple of places and then came upon Riccardo and spent the rest of the race trying and failing to find a way past.. When a recovering Leonardo started to get close behind us I made a bit of a (desperate) lunge up the inside into the chicane, but we touched tyres and I went off. My fault, but no real damage done. First time I've begun to sort of enjoy these though. Congrats podium.

great race love these cars especially in VR "awesome"!! if you haven't tried VR its a game changer! I would recommend it, wished I have taken the plunged years ago. I was toying between the V8 and V10 before this race as they were both very similar in times, went for the V10 because of the sound "just fantastic that's where race room excels in my opinion!" managed to get pole just with the soft tires by a squeak! Very cautious on the start as I know how easy it is to spin these things on the loud pedal and managed to gain a bit of a lead, that's what I think won me the race as Geoff was keeping the gap constant between 3 - 4 seconds just behind me (no room for error). I had real trouble keeping the front tires warm, no problem with the rears! but what I don't get is with the AI drivers seems to be 7 seconds faster than me when I practice. I don't know if this is a raceroom thing! it just don't seem right to me!
grats to the podium guys and all in the race tough cars to drive and keep them of the road!
Portimao next which is one of my favourite tracks looking forward to that one! JP
