Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Looks like the server is set up for Silhouette and FR90. I'm outclassed in an FR90... is everyone else in the Silhouettes?...

Despite Dieter and Ricardo conspiring to give me 4th again, I managed to bring it home 6th... lol.

Why, when they're so frustrating, do I feel like getting back on every time?, thinking "I'll get the hang of this, surely..." lol.

Grats to JP (despite his efforts, to make a horlicks of it), Birger and Geoff.

Love Portimao, one of the best modern circuits, but I always seem to be off the pace here in any car in RRE.

Race started badly when I went left to avoid Birger who was a little slow away & hampered Riccardo, sorry. Justice was done though as he had a better run through T1 to get ahead of me. Had a good battle with him & Frex in the early laps with John catching us after his early mishap. The rest of the race was a fairly lonely affair though & although places were swapped it was always due to one or other of us making a mistake. Eventually came home 3rd despite a big 'off' at T3 late in the race.

Congrats to John (great recovery) & Birger (faultless & excellent pace).  clap clap

OMG!! OMG!! I love these cars but they bite you when you least expect it, I thought I had a good start, wrong! and round she went, now at the back now I started my way to up the field but not without incident spun a further 2 times in silly places which did seem a bit strange and annoying, I managed to get it together and pump in some good lap times and make my way to the front, these cars are very fulfilling and at the same time very frustrating!

congrats to the podium and looking forward to the next one.

NO and NO

Does everyone else suffer from cold tyres? I assume I have no grip/speed because mine are always freezing cold. I obviously just don't grok these as in all other classes I have someone on a similar pace but I almost got lapped by the entire field last night. Even with max wing, lowest engine map the car was almost undriveable except at stupidly low speeds.

Great track, but throttle management in these cars was even trickier than usual here for me. Again, kinda enjoyed it, but again in trying to close in on Birger I messed up a first-second gear upshift and spun. I think every time I'm racing someone in these cars either I (usually) or my opponent makes a mistake and the battle is over. Ah well.

Congrats John and podium.

I do not understand these cars, with soft tires well then with the medium they are undriveable, I think it is a setup problem but also rre on the tires has to learn from iracing ....
