Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 986s

Jan Duijs is braking for the Foggy Esses, with Leuven behind and slightly offset to the left. As Jan starts braking he moves slightly left and then right again, and Leuven is caught out and has to stand on the brakes, causing his car to move right slightly and tag the back of Jan, spinning Jan and putting both cars onto the grass.

The primary fault rest with Leuven who could have moved further to the left before the braking zone, but Jan's little move under braking is rather ill advised too and mitigates a penalty somewhat.

  • jan duijs (Jan Duijs)caution — moving in front of another car during braking
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded
  • LEUVENpenalty — rear ending Jan Duijs — 1 place lost
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Server replay time: 2010s

Perdy is approaching Bernie Lomax coming out of McLeans. He dives up the inside into Coppice and would've been safely through save that he snatched a front brake in his haste and understeered into Bernie, who had reached a point where he had to turn in.

It was a particularly regrettable place to outbrake a car being lapped as there is a much more convenient long straight immediately afterwards.

Lobby came back about 5 minutes after the event was due to start so I shortened the length of Practice 1 by 5 minutes and set it off.

I thought it would be wet but the current weather at East Midlands is dry you lucky sods. Cheesy

Well it was a short race for me that's for sure,  my pc froze completely after only a few laps.
It was good while it lasted though, battling with Leuven and Paul and having a really enjoyable race when picture just froze and sound went into a loop.
Hope my parked car didn't cause mayhem, although I',m not optimistic because it happened in the middle of the Craner Curves with a car right behind Sad

Hopefully be there again in the Vertigo on Tuesday for the sprint

When i made my pit stop on lap 31 someone was already in my bay. I had to sit and wait for ages until his pitstop was complete and that ruined my race completely. Any idea why that happened?

Dunno what to say, don't think i ever caused so much trouble in a race before, I'm really sorry, especially for Paul, who lost his 1st in class through my fault. :-(

Should've quited in Lap 1 already after touching Ruskus. Had some nice fights as a result and so did Ruskus i presume, but it was a bad omen for the rest of the race.

Don't think I'll bother you again in the next races, have a nice season guys. :-)

Reasonable quali for me, race went not too bad except for always coming up on NGT's in Craner curves all the time, just my luck! fuel played a trick in second stint, 5 minutes left, enough for 5 laps, 1 minute left no fuel, godamn it, splash and dash ruined it tbh.  Sad

That was quite a stunning race, at the beginning I got 2nd place due a first corner moment from some other guys Smiley
But I lost that place when I ran a bit wide few laps later, my pace was just high enough to keep up with the front pack, but after a few mistakes I just was loosing time and couldn't get the time I lost with that back, after the pitstop I was a bit more easy on my tyres and that resulted I could go hunting at the end of the race, FlyBri was taking it easy I think cause I was closing on him real fast, when he noticed it we ran like 1.26 laps at the end of the race really pushing it. Few times I got side by side but the 550 just blasts away on the following straight Shocked

I hope you don't mean that you won't race Martin? Nobody wants that and everyone knows you are not a dirty driver. Yes, I was a bit fed up to lose the lead in NGT, but these things happen. I took Bernie out at the same place while scrapping with Simon (sorry Bernie), so no complaints here :-).

Report to follow when I've seen the replay, but just to say I had a great race, especially the long battle with Simon in his extra widened BMW Tongue.

At most tracks there aren't enough pit bays for everyone to pit at once; the game allocates your bay when you join so if anyone you're sharing with is in when you pit you have to wait or go around.

There's some anecdotal evidence to suggest that issuing a pit request and only pitting when they say they're ready reduces the chances of having to share, instead of simply turning up unannounced. That probably assumes that a car you're sharing with hasn't nipped in unannounced ahead of you.

Hope my parked car didn't cause mayhem, although I',m not optimistic because it happened in the middle of the Craner Curves with a car right behind Sad

Yip, that was me  Cheesy I took at wide entry to get a good run out and WHAM!!! A face full of frozen red vertislow!!! hahaha...was upset but I lmao seconds later!!! np thou, happens  Wink

...but oh what a great race....top 5 NGT guys running with 2 secs for a loooong time! I was surprised at how easy it is to let the GT guys through, just have to be sensible about it Cheesy

After mo's car sent me off track i ended up behind MJ but dispatched of him easily Grin i was a man possessed and started lapping fast and consistent and made up 13 secs to the front runners just before halfway mark...When pitstops came i was battling tough with Simon and Dan so i decided to let them get on with it and I'll pit 3 laps earlier and use my fresh rubber to leap them and hopefully Paul as well!

...then the pit guys just stood there, staring at each other for like 6 secs  Angry lol  doing nothing then decides to start fueling, so when pit out i was 14 secs behind the front guys and started the chase all over again!!!!!!

with 3 laps left i was on Simon's tail ready to pounce as i sussed him up very quickly (early on the brakes good exit he drove) and we fought it out till 2nd last hairpin i had a late stab but thought better of it and he kept the place...was just looking for one more lap, thought id get it but just before s/f line the flag comes out EEEK dammit!

Simon was very relieved i could tell!!! haha

Good battle all, that was great...I'll def have another NGT Enduro sometime with you chaps!

PS: The GT were well behaved bu thats cause NGT were kind  Wink Cheesy Grin ...and Martin!!! must've been a brain lapse!!  Tongue

PS: OMG CLAUS!!! You made them look amateurish! Amazing drive m8!
