Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 986s

Jan Duijs is braking for the Foggy Esses, with Leuven behind and slightly offset to the left. As Jan starts braking he moves slightly left and then right again, and Leuven is caught out and has to stand on the brakes, causing his car to move right slightly and tag the back of Jan, spinning Jan and putting both cars onto the grass.

The primary fault rest with Leuven who could have moved further to the left before the braking zone, but Jan's little move under braking is rather ill advised too and mitigates a penalty somewhat.

  • jan duijs (Jan Duijs)caution — moving in front of another car during braking
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded
  • LEUVENpenalty — rear ending Jan Duijs — 1 place lost
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Server replay time: 2010s

Perdy is approaching Bernie Lomax coming out of McLeans. He dives up the inside into Coppice and would've been safely through save that he snatched a front brake in his haste and understeered into Bernie, who had reached a point where he had to turn in.

It was a particularly regrettable place to outbrake a car being lapped as there is a much more convenient long straight immediately afterwards.

Would like to apologise to Jan and M Jonzo for an over aggressive piece of dive bombing at the last turn,  think i bumped Jan during that Undecided.  great awareness from the NGT drivers.

I leave you a gap you take it,i see no problem.Besides guys who drive Vipers can do no wrong with me (is that english??) Tongue

[...] then lost another spot to Martin who tapped me at the hairpin and left me facing the wrong way. [...]

I already forgot that, I'm very sorry, my driving was really extremely bad yesterday. :-(

Good job in the Viper. :-)

When i made my pit stop on lap 31 someone was already in my bay. I had to sit and wait for ages until his pitstop was complete and that ruined my race completely. Any idea why that happened?

i found this in the *.plr file.........does it help you reckon Dave?

Vehicles Per Pit="2" // Default used for assigning garage & pit (range: 1-3), may be overridden with GDB entry on a per-pit basis

Pressing 9 in advance and waiting for a pit ready msg may also help

I don't think it will make any difference as all the standard tracks have specific entries for each pit anyway. I can't see how it would help online because I presume the server does the pit allocation - it certainly seemed that way during our Anderstorp test.
