I almost forgot about this race, real life a bit too busy! Luckily the track is very simple, but after viewing other drivers from the replay I see I was quite ragged and didn't sort good lines, Greg in particular was driving much better and only the Eagle's straight line speed kept me in the hunt.  Most of the race was okay, I see we touched at the first hairpin killer, as you came back from a wide line, punting you off, sorry about that.  As Greg mentioned I went off myself at the first hairpin a few laps later and took a while to get going again.  Coming back on again I had Killer (Frank) a second or two back but after catching an ailing Syd in T1 I had to slow quite a bit which allowed Killer to get right on my case. A few laps later I caught Syd again in the same place and went wide on the exit spinning several times....  Grr...given the circuit is so fast, I found your limping round was a bit out of order... no fun for you either I reckon and did you really need the points?

After getting going again I was behind Killer and Lasse (and Doni I think) but then Lasse and Doni came together and I was able to close up then pass Alex and also pass Killer on the last lap.  At this point I was oblivious to Axel being out front and thought I had the lead.  It wasn't until after the finish line I realized I was 2nd not 1st!   Shocked

On to Hockenheim, slight chance of the title but Killer is pencilled-in...let's see.

Cheers for the racing guys,

Bob.

I think it's risky to repeat  Hockenheim, this week in GPA half the grid fell in the middle of the race.

   could find a similar track?

Renato why did you slowed down and downshift on a flat out turn? I couldn't avoid you at all  Huh
I see that I had a crash that ended my race at second lap with a driver that isn't registered for this season. How this? In a season where all the results count, I'm not happy and neither he worried to answer my question.
Anyway big congrats to Miele for the champ.

Fulvio,

If we are talking about the same driver, he did 3 races during this season without being registered.

I suppose someone gave him the password for the races ...which is not correct.
The guy giving him the pw should better have explained him how to register... it takes only 30 seconds.
By the way, it would not have change the final results ...and incidents.

You are quite right Fulvio but I wouldn't want the language barrier to deter drivers from racing with us. I have tried to learn French, German, Spanish and Italian with very limited success (oh and Latin at school). I have huge admiration for anyone who is multilingual and empathy with anyone who is not.

It is much easier for the admin staff if drivers register themselves, however if anyone is struggling with the registration process I can register drivers using my admin rights. This is preferable to giving out passwords to unregistered drivers.

So next season if anyone is seriously struggling with the registration process, please email me their details and refrain from giving out race passwords.
