Tom was dropped from the lap count on lap 5 but I've checked the replay and confirmed he finished 14 seconds ahead of Andreas. So the results have been amended accordingly. Well done Tom, an impressive pace in the BRM. Grats to Andreas on a solid P2 and Martin for a podium. Thanks to Martin, Antipasti have secured the Privateers team championship!  clap clap clap

was again not able to setup a wingless cooper against wing cars.
felt like Al Pease

Grats to Fulvio for being fast with it, and all finishers.

I have to do a wiser decision in the next mixed open wheel series.

Me too  Grin, starting as a work made me choice the Cooper but then me and you were declassed as privaters and could have picked better cars, 69's expecially.
Thx mods for the season.
P.S.
What happened to Alain in the standing? He was ahead of me and David on track.  Huh

After a couple of disasterous races of late, my hopes were not high at Monjuich.  In order to compete successfully, my setups have become modified to the point, where front and rear now compete, to see which can cross the finish line first.  This does not always end well. Undecided

The race was action packed from the start.  I decided to tag along to watch the battle ahead.  As the lead stretched, Andreas kindly let me through to chase them down, but wagging my tail in approval was a mistake.  A discussion with the Armco at the hairpin, over which direction to take next, had Andreas retake my position, and for the race remainder we were locked in battle.

Several times, the rear of my Lotus gained the upper hand briefly, but with little time lost.  Each time I could catch, but not pass the Matra ahead.  It was a Stewart versus Rindt revival!  Some good racing. Cheesy

The pitboard showed our battling duosomes, to be in P1 and P2 at the finish.  But this race was destined to be a well earned victory for Cookie, had the GPL Gods not descended, to envoke an electronic failure.   Lapscorer's failed to believe a BRM could win , but I can confirm the inconsiderate way in which Tom left us behind.  A happy 3rd place here.  laugh

I was fully intending to join the hostilities at Montjuice and I actually made it as far as the pit lane on several occasions. It would appear that although Arnold and Mabel had assembled the car for this race they had entirely forgot to put any cogs in the gearbox!!

Nothing that I did would persuade my BRM to move forward ( or backward!) I could rev the engine and twiddle the steering wheel as much as I wanted, but zero velocity was achieved.

I re-booted at least 5 times, I recalibrated the wheel in the Logitech profiler, I re calibrated and saved the Bodnar shifter cable. I desperation I disconnected the Bodnar cable, unbolted my wheel from the rig and plugged the shifter back into the G25.......still no gears?Huh I even uninstalled GPL shift and re-installed to no avail Huh.

To make matters even worse, when the race started I was forced to quit the server or become a hazard on the S/F line. So I fired up GTL for some practice and the gears worked perfectly!!!
Exactly why GPL/GEM/IGOR/SERVER had against my gearbox I have no idea

Yes, that was a really cool race! Even though it wasn't about 1st and 2nd place in the end, it was still a great fight with Martin "Jochen".
Congratulations to all finishers!

Yeah nice race for 22 laps until my engine lost 4 cylinders...

@ Clive

Go into your player folder and rename or delete the controls.cfg
after this in GPL you have to dedicate the buttons and pedals and calibrate Wink
