This will probably be the last fun race before we start the new DTM 2020 series!

I have included a pitstop so we can brush up on the procedure as i plan on using it for some of the DTM races

Hope i can get the car in the window i had it at Brands Hatch. Car reminsicent of sportscars of old; alot of power but not much mechanical grip!

i have just set the server up for tonights race, looks like they have updated it since i last used this option, it has given me the option of '2 tyres' or '4 tyres', so i have opted for 'two tyres'.

remember to bind some keys to the pitstop functions and have a go at a practice stop
I would advise setting up your pit options during the practice/qualifying sessions so that all you have to do is press confirm when you enter the pitlane.
There is also an option to let the game take over trundling down the pitlane

FYI - RRE will punish you if you speed in pitlane

Longer race, very hot too but somehow the game ran and I finished. Can't say I like the Audi much, so much understeer, and the time differences between us means no chance of close racing.

I stayed in game and did a ranked server race after to. Just a quick NSU race but I finished that to. Does this mean I might fair better on Thursday? I'm not holding my breath.

I agree with Pete about the Audi understeer, but I think it is a little track specific, the car felt great when we used it at Brands. My attempts at dialing out the understeer were a miserable failure, I kept losing the rear going into corners & once it started to go, no amount of opposite lock would save it. The resulting collisions with the barriers just made matters worse with increasingly less grip at both ends of the car. Back to the drawing board with setup methinks.

Congrats to Mark on a great drive despite the drive through, & to Pete & Stephen on the podium.  clap clap clap

Thanks for that I have now designated a pit speed button. I seem to recall there was a facility to preset your pit stop parameters in setup before the race - instead of manually during the pit stop, is this correct? Only last night I pitted with 3 gallons of fuel but immediately the car was jacked up and a tyre change carried out, the car dispatched into the race leaving me to carry out a second pit stop for fuel!

After a few laps under steer caused a high speed excursion into the kitty litter damaging my car, I had a few more and struggled to get my car to the finish.

There is a facility to setup your pitstop Bill, but you need to be in a race event to set it up, it is not available in a practice session. If you want to set it up beforehand just go into a single player race, in the race menu there is an option for pitstop preset. Create a new one & label it , I usually just give it the car name, make sure it is active (& deactivate any previous ones for other cars), then change the tyre, fuel & repair options you want. To enable the options you want, make sure they are highlighted in green, only ones highlighted green will be carried out at the stop.

Interesting how we all took the Audi!

This took me back to the many races around here in GTR2 mainly and more recently PC2.

I took my Brands Setup and tweaked a number of things, mainly to get rid of the slow speed understeer. There is definately something strange about the setups as the car seems to be really softly sprun on the front as it bounces a lot but just doesnt have much grip. Cant work it out... I dont like the rear to be wayward, just use the TC to control the slip. Though in Raceroom now it feels like you are always constantly sliding the tyres based on the noise as soon as you tiurn the wheel

Went to pit and change all 4 tyres, I know i got a bit confused as to where the pit lane started, but it might have been on exit whre i picked the drive-thru up; thought i was near enough to the exit not to use the limiter!

You definately had the pace Geoff
