Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

An emergency has come up where I have to go out, and may not be back in time to start the clock at 19:45
If someone can join at 19:45 that would be a big help
Thanks

Some good racing in the NSUs once again, so why are so few people turning up?

Qualifying basically determined the outcome of race 1, with pole man Pete quickly building around a 2s lead while I kept John occupied with his mirrors & Eck had a good view of our battle. Could not find a way past John despite getting alongside a couple of times & finally lost touch with him when I had a trip through the gravel at the T1 chicane & was never able to catch back up.

Got a bit lucky for race 2, I had nearly run out of fuel in the first race, so added a bit more to make sure & only realised after the race had started that it had been set to 20 laps rather than 20 mins, so I probably would not have finished without the extra juice. Anyway, I had the advantage of a front row start this time & just beat Eck into T1 & while the others argued over 2nd place I was able to build a small lead. I expected John & Pete to close the gap, but I seemed to find a bit extra speed from somewhere & the gap was soon up to 5s. This stayed constant for several laps but increased more towards the end, maybe John & Pete were low on fuel  Huh. So had a fairly comfortable win in this one.

Congrats to Pete on the win & podium & to John on two 2nds.  clap clap

Foot is a lot better, I had hoped to join you for at least for the first race but in the event I had a busy day and decided not to turn up.  hammer nono

Had a look at the Mustang at Mid Ohio, we’ve raced here many times so I have sorted out my setup and plan to get some laps in and race next Thursday!  Cool  rockon

Glad to hear the foot's much better Bill. We were hoping to see you last night, roll on next week Smiley

Good racing again last night although I was really tired. Managed to just squeak the win in the first race as John caught me late on. Glad for the early advantage caused by the agro Geoff was causing him  Grin

I had way too much fuel in race 1 so took a chunk out for race 2. Didn't seem to make much difference to my lap times. By half way I was totally knackered and was struggling with concentration massively. Awesome time in that second race Geoff, couldn't have lived with that even if I was 100%.

I still reckon these give some of the best close racing it is a shame more can't see it  Roll Eyes

Well done everyone last night
