Hi all, I will be recieving my DFP tomorrow. What I need to know, as this is primarily a wheel for the PS2, where and how do I get drivers to use this for my PC? I assume its a USB connection? Any other info much appreciated! Regards Colin

It does indeed use a USB connection. Download the version 5 WingMan drivers from here.

Thanks a million Dave! I assume that they are the same ones for the G25 also? Will I install the drivers before physically connecting the wheel? Regards Colin

I think the current drivers will happily install before or after you plug the wheel in. There's just one set of WingMan drivers for all the wheels, G25 included.

I *think* I'm using the unofficial "Team Wingman" DFP drivers, is there any advantage to using the Logitech drivers linked above?

I think the Wingman Team drivers are just Logitech's previous 4.60 drivers. The version 5 drivers have better support for mapping some of the DFP's controls.

Thanks Dave I just upgraded to those linked above, everything seems the same except thet with the old drivers both the green lights (just above the centre of the wheel) came on. With the new drivers, just the one on the left comes on? Seems a bit odd

I'm fairly sure that 1 light means the steering lock is engaged, but both are lit when allowing a full 900 degree rotation.

Ah! Spot on. Cheers Adam, the new drivers had reset that option.

Does this mean that with the later drivers I wont get the full rotation? I know that 900 would not be desirable anyway Regards Colin

The drivers let you turn it on or off - if you upgrade the drivers the setting may be reset but you can just turn it on again. I've got mine set to about 320 degrees.

Well well, I must say I'm very pleased with the wheel. Works very well. Only gripes are trying to set the deadzone and the sensitivity so it feels right. But more importantly, I AM NOT FASTER, I AM SLOWER! Spent all night last night around Donington and Silverstone where i'd spent most of my time for the Simracing races. I'm a good 3-4 seconds a lap slower with the wheel. I make alot more mistakes. Maybe i'm not used to it but I felt especially at Silverstone I couldn't go any quicker with the wheel. Regards Colin
