Thank you for organizing this race to test the patch. In my case it worked perfectly with stable 60 fps throughout the whole track.
As for the race I had an entertaining fight with Axel, but my Chaparral was pretty beat up, and when I decided to calm down and settle for 2nd place, I lost concentration and had two accidents that forced me to do 2 shift-r and I arrived 5th.
As always, I can't download the replay, maybe it's the browser, I use Firefox.
Thanks for organizing this.

I was happily chasing Jonny O for the lead when I became engrossed in Pribluda and then forgot to brake entirely for a bend. I had to Reset putting me back in about 5th. Surprising to see that Jonny threw himself off at the very next bend. Perhaps he was watching me in his mirror. Shame he later quit the race.

More than happy with a podium and had some great racing with Angex.

Please allow me to make a correction to my previous post above.  For, "Largely my fault", please insert, 'Totally my fault'.  Exiting White House, I had a Ferrari pull out to pass on my right and I took a peek at it with my 'Look Right' button on my Logi G25 steering wheel.  As has happened before...see Phil vs Doni, GP55 race start at Monaco some years back..., it would seem that I made an involuntary steering input to the right that set up the collision.  Sorry again, Greg.

. . . . .  I took a peek at it with my 'Look Right' button on my Logi G25 steering wheel. . . . .
I learned how best to use glance buttons against the Ai.  A very rapid one second glance prevents lateral panic. Cool  I use it most at race starts, where stereo sound can be overwhelmed.  Less useful to those using a strange FOV, where the view has been modified.

First time out with the sports cars. Very different.

Was I (dark green Lola) blinking/warping?

In the matter of testing,is there any street circuit in mind? I miss those.

And a question, have you guys ever tryed the weather patch (http://srmz.net/index.php?showtopic=11768)? Does it work on line? I have so much fun practicing with it off line.

 Congrats podium!

When I was a little alone I lost concentration and got stuck in the mountain of sand. I couldn't go and I made a shiftr to take the car to the pits safely.
I can't go on after a shiftr, Doni would kill me, it hurts our religious principles!

Congrats Axel, Andreas, and Pete! Nice job guys.

I had a Ferrari pull out to pass on my right. Sorry again, Greg.

It's no big deal Doni. I don't expect you to be perfect. You did surprise me. And you might have got a, "what the hell?" out of me. I wondered if I made a mistake and didn't leave you at least half the track. I looked at the mechanical report and it listed no damage for me but I struggled with the car's cornering the next 2 laps. It's shame you picked up an engine problem from the incident. What's the worse thing for you is that it was unlikely I could have passed. I was expecting to have to back off before Dunlop since you had a tow and my acceleration wasn't very good in 4th and 5th gear.

Clive, how did you like that pass at Mulsanne? I braked early but no where near as early as I needed to. Lucky for you that I have a lot of experience at LeMans and quickly knew I was in trouble. I'm sure glad you didn't make a mistake and drift towards the left. I'd have nailed you then.

The Ferrari is a better demolition derby car than I thought. I beat the hell out of it. Doni helped me the first time. I hit the wall hard at Maison Blanche twice. And Renato had trouble in front of me at Dunlop and when I tried to avoid him I hit the outside wall so hard I'm surprised I didn't lose a wheel. That mistake hurt though. I was down 7 mph on my top speed and that added 3-4 seconds to my lap times. Without the engine problem I'd have caught Andreas and Pete quickly but that doesn't mean I'd have ever been able to pass them.

I'm pleased with the Ferrari's durability but my setup still sucks. I need to start over with it. It's consistency is horrible and it's often unpredictable near the apex of turns. I think I might need a softer suspension and higher tire pressures. I'm ready to do it again and I'll stay that way until I get the Ferrari driving the way I want. Smiley

I don't know if it's my imagination or not. I've often thought I'm more likely to get a disconnect or screen freeze when I'm inconsistent and have accidents. If that's true, I tested the patch well. It's nice to see that this patch seems to be working well.

I can't go on after a shiftr, Doni would kill me, it hurts our religious principles!

lol That made me laugh. I try my best to avoid resets but I use them if I have to. It's a shame you beached that whale. It's also a shame I lacked the skill to try to use you and Clive's slipstream for a large portion of the race. The Ferrari is capable of at least 3:18s with a good slipstream.

Thanks for the fun guys.
