Championship standings HERE

Grid/server capacity: 22

Track: Monza (GP)

Cars allowed: Any standard GTC-65 car (excluding the Ford GT40). Car roster HERE

Note: Driver's can only choose one car make per race. No repeat drives. Applies to Round's 11 to 15.

CUP STAGE C, Round 12

Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins)
Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins)
Race: 20:40 (24 laps)

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal
Pit stops required: NO

Server: simracing.org.uk Monday
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None.

Hi. well i got online, had a mirror problem. could only see the car interior?  tried the B button. just gave me a great view of the headlining LOL

seems all sorted. created a new profile and set that up. seems to work now.

had a great connection and no lags or anything.

just need to do the registry fix. the CD number keeps getting lost and i have to re register everytime I fire up GTL

any good tutorial for sorting this issue?

Try my best to be ready for Wednesdy. thanks for the nice welcome. hope the race went well.

Leave out the dashes when you enter the online code. If that doesn't work try this

Unexpected outcome of this race.  With Monza being the power circuit it is, I settled for either Corvette, TVR or Cobra.  Wanted to see what the opposition was driving, and how fast, in praccy, before making the final choice.  Initially tested with the Corvette. Manfred was posting some ridiculous laptimes in the TVR, so no chance of competing with him in that car or the Corvette.  When I lost connection to the server, I rejoined with the Cobra and stayed with it, as it looked like I could at least fight for the podium with it.

Knocked over a second off my pb in qual, but still surprised to run away with pole.  Cobra seemed to have an advantage early on, which I tried to make the most of - fully expected to be in trouble later, when the tyres wore.  Thus hadn't expected to have the lonely race I did, but surprisingly the gap continued growing all through the race.  Looks like DD & Manfred had a great battle, so maybe their tyres suffered as a result.  Lonely or not, it still took a lot of concentration - getting through Parabolica 24 times without screwing up is a feat all in itself  Cheesy

Grats to DD & Manfred for their podiums, and commiserations to those that retired early.
