Championship standings HERE

Grid/server capacity: 22

Track: Magny-Cours (GP)

Cars allowed: Any standard GTC-65 car (excluding the Ford GT40). Car roster HERE

Note: Driver's can only choose one car make per race. No repeat drives. Applies to Round's 11 to 15.

CUP STAGE C, Round 13

Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins)
Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins)
Race: 20:40 (26 laps)

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal
Pit stops required: NO

Server: simracing.org.uk Monday
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None.

I have replaced my brake pedal with a spare I had lying around.

If you could keep an eye on my car and report any abnormal brake light flickering it would be much appreciated.

Very little participation tonight... Undecided

A little disappointed with my race, I thought I could do better with the little Lotus...but it was not so easy and Tony who did a great race with the TVR was not very far Wink

Trying my best to defend my unexpected lead in the Championship, I initially went online in the strongest weapon available to me; the TVR.  However, the conspicuous absence of all the aliens and the posted laptimes by the present drivers, suggested the Corvette might be enough, so switched to this.

Matt's late showing in an Elan was cause for worry. Only a little slower, he was bound to be a problem once the atrocious tyre wear of the Corvette began to set in. His early retirement defused the bomb though, and I had enough of a gap to Tony & Chris for the tyre wear never to be an issue.  Lonely race though.

Grats to Chris & Tony, and commiserations to the retirees.
