Yes Chris, the amount of classic content is always a problem for me also. RRE for example has multiple years of modern DTM stuff, none of which are massively different from each other really, and a whole host of stuff I will probably never drive like the godawful FWD modern touring cars, but not a single Lotus Cortina in sight, licencing issues maybe......For the record RRE does have wider classic content than the others I think, but you could drive articulated lorries through the gaps.....

I use the standard game presets in the Fanalab app for both RRE and PCars2, gives good FFB for me on my CSW2.5.

I would wish for an updated GTL, or a modern standalone game based on the Power & Glory mod, as the ultimate holy grail. Unfortunately no game devs have gone that route Angry, not enough demand I guess.

Agreed. Only thing I would disagree on is the WTCC cars work really well for close racing that we look for in our championships
I ran a WTCC series a while ago and it went well. FWD is personal preference, but the R3E ones do work nicely

I used to run some P&G series, and I would spend hours trying to get a balanced choice of cars, only to find a good pork herder
would be 2 secs faster with a car I thought to be equal to others. One of the things about R3E I like is that most of
the classes are fairly well balanced, though there are some huge exceptions.

Yes RRE do seem to be following the trend of all the other major sims of lots of modern GT & Touring Car content, which after all does seem the most popular. I do think as probably the smallest of the main sims that they would do better by carving their own niche by concentrating more on the historical content than adding things like the latest version of this that or other 911, R8 or AMG GT. There are already plenty of those, but being German based I guess that is inevitable.

Having said all that I have come to enjoy driving a lot of the modern content.
