That was quite some fun yesterday but a real trial for stamina. With a buggered shoulder, all those twisties are certainly a challenge. The eyeballs weren't all they could have been either. The fun was in giving Phil and Martin a hardass-time in not giving way to obviously superior speed. I gave them a couple of wave-bys early on but after they fell of the road a few times to end up behind me, I thought, 'What the Hell. Let 'em work for it. Could be fun!' Try as they might, they couldn't get by. Only for the last laps did I realize that I was coming up short on fuel so cruised it in for the last couple of laps.
That Phil set the FTD some two seconds
per mile faster than I is amazing!
