Over 1600 cc (Division 3) - Note that you can drive with Division 1 or Division ½ car as well, but you will be then competing on same points as guys in Division 2 cars
Unless there's 4 or more drivers signed (in this thread) to Division 3 six hours before the race start, event will change to Division 2 event and only one set of points will be given. Qualifying: - 30 minutes, starts at
19:00 BST.
- Use shortcut to the right before the bridge and another one after next left hander to start qualifying lap without running 11 minutes just to warm up.
Race: Length: 4 hours and 18 minutes. (1/20th of the 1970 Marathon De La Route race, which was 86 hours.)
- lapcount set to redicilously high. Race ends when 4 hours and 18 minutes is in clock and leading car crosses the start line
- Race starts at approx.
19:30 BST.
- Additional driver per car is allowed, but if both drivers are racing in championship, only one scores points. Note that due GTL being old game, both drivers must be physically using same computer. Driver changes are allowed only in pits.
Special scoring:All racers compete against each other.As this is harder than any other event in season, points per position have been made roughly 2.3 times bigger to give bigger importance to this race.- Points
- 23 points for 1st position
- 21 points for 2nd position
- 18 points for 3rd position
- 13 points for 4th position
- 10 points for 5th position
- 8 points for 6th position
- 5 points for 7th position
- 3 points for 8th position
- 1 points for 9th position
- Overall winner of the race scores additional 2 points.
- Each CLASS winner scores an extra point.
- And same as usual: if you start race in CLASS that you have not driven yet, you score automatically 3 additional points.
- Note that you can start maximum of 5 times in each engine class.

if you are familiar with player profile editing, you can set the game announce your every XX seconds how much race time is left:

Race Timer="0" line from
[ Race Conditions ] block and replace the zero with amount of seconds between announcements. If you want to get note in every 5 minutes, 5 x 60 seconds = 300 --> replace the "0" with "300".
Remember to change the value back to zero after the race as otherwise GT Legends keeps telling you race time left in every race. Game itself does not make difference between the time based and lap based races, but it is happy which one (lap count or the time) comes first fullfilled. So it is quite funny that message tells you having 3 hours left in 5 laps quick race, if you forgot it on.
Track notes:Track shadows are heavy, so check out that you have shadows set as "Medium" or less. There is few small clitches like headlights turning off in Sudschleife part of the track, but nothing that effects race itself.
Track is work in progress version (0.85b) of GTR2 conversion of rFactor track. As I have not been able to contact the original authors, please do not redistribute this version. I will continue work on this and if and when the release is possible, I will release proper version.
There's possibility to run shorter in lap by driving Betonschleife to get the laptimer running without running whole 28 km lap to warm up. Check the Qualifying section to more info how to do it.
