Someone complained ( ) that the Lambos were too easy so lets throw you back into the deep end - Fatalfies amazing new Bremgarten circuit and some mental late 60's touring cars. The main purpose of this test is to compare the Lancia with the Ford and Alfa as we know the latter cars can compete on equal footing, the S1 Lancia is supposedly tuned to equal the Ford so this should add some variety to the grid when we race these all again. There are important notes on the Alfa below - PLEASE READ THEM OR YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO JOIN!Password: see abovePractice: -:- (This is the 1960's, practice is qualifying ) Qual: 19:30 (1 hour) Race: 20:30 (40 mins plus 1 lap) Cars allowed: Ford Escort (Stock Kunos) Alfa GTAm ( https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/1970-alfa-romeo-gtam.28717/history - you MUST use the 1.2 version until I can verify the latest model will work without CM or shaders, that is the version currently on the server.) Lancia Fulvia S1 ( https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/lancia-fulvia-1-6-hf.9317/Track: Bremgarten https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/bremgarten-1950s.43576/Live Timing: hereTime of Day Setting: 13:30 Weather: Clear Start: Standing Tyre wear: 30% Fuel consumption: Normal Pit-stops: Not required Server track settings: SESSION_START=100 RANDOMNESS=0 LAP_GAIN=1% SESSION_TRANSFER=100 Damage: 70%

I am thinking about doing this race as I don't really fancy the clashing GTL race. I have installed the two add-on cars but I have a question. The Lancia comes with two versions, the 1.6HF & the S1, which appear as two different cars in the file structure. However in the car selection menu in game there is only the 1.6HF, is this correct?
Edit: Ok I have sorted it, there is a sub-menu when you select a car skin which shows the S1s.

From previous experience with the 935, my chances of making it around half a dozen corners are next to zero, let alone the whole race.

I didn't know someone had made a 935 in GTL. It's it the K1,2 or 3? We have the K1 as official content in AC, and both the K2 and 3 are part of an excellent mod.
They are all evil though I have to confess, probably why I love them so much

I've just had possibly the most fun race against the AI since getting AC - starting from the back of a ~30 car grid and fighting forward. Apart from the Ford that forced me to crash at T1 (And did the same later that lap in the segment I've cut) the AI was fantastic. The Fulvia seems to be very well matched to the Ford in pace and is an absolute blast to drive once you've adapted to the fact it's FWD.. It will be a crime if we don't get a decent turn out for this race https://youtu.be/YjQWAt8JR1Y

Back from holidays, so time to fire up the game pc again. Seems like a nice combo, altough not to much time to learn this long track.. Will just try to survive I guess.

Readme doesn't state which version. It only says this (translated from German) " Here it is, another group 5 bolide, the Porsche 935, one of the most successful Racing car of all time! Based on the Porsche 930 (first 911 Turbo), Porsche has launched the 935 for Group 5, which in 1976 already developed an output of approx. 590 hp thanks to turbocharging. Many world-famous racing drivers such as Jacky Ickx, Klaus Ludwig, Bob Wollek have a Porsche 935 Vehicles from such well-known teams such as the Martini Porsche works team, Gelo Porsche or Kremer Porsche has won a large number of national and international titles."

I'll take the Alfa tonight - I'm 99% certain I can match the Fulvia in the Escort with a little work as that's running an unchanged Goodwood setup and has only done 1 lap..
I haven't driven the Alfa anything like as much though previously and don't have it handling right, this should make things more interesting!

should hopefully join you all for some vintage car fun tonight. Been months since i've raced anything heritage! Downloaded all the links and tested the track briefly so hopefully good to go. The track looks fantastic, very detailed and the ffb feels amazing. Driving over the cobbles was so realistic it threw my senses Having driven my old 911 over similar cobbled roads in the Swiss mountains i can say its spot on. I wont get to know the track config well enough in time but hopefully can hang onto the pack for some racing at least.

Didn't even make it round the first lap, really don't know why I bothered, absolute waste of time.

Sorry I had to leave early, something seemed to be wrong with my throttle calibration like it was running at 80% flat to the floor noticed everyone flying past in qually and thought I’d fixed it, but even from race start you all shot off in the distance despite giving it full beans
