Thanks for such a great start to the season. Kyalami is my least favourite PAPY track as I seem to take a different line every lap; I just can't get it right. I was happy to qualify in 12th in the BT20 but I was still a second off Leo's time. I managed to avoid the L1 incidents and managed to keep it on the grey stuff for the rest of the race and I didn't run out of fuel. That's all I want this season - slow and steady with a focus on consistency. The 68 cars certainly seem to encourage close racing. Love it!

My first race with the G27, after a decade with my venerable xbox controller. I was worried of not being competitive enought as i lost nearly 2 sec on my PB in the first attempt with the wheel, but after a few tweaks on the setup, i really enjoied theese cars. The default setup is pretty good and i just needed to tune the diff and the shocks to suit my driving style.
My target for the race was to drive as clean as possible and i'm satisfied with the result. On first lap i managed to keep the third place and i had the illusion that i could stay with  the front guys, but on lap 3 i went too wide in T1 and i lost my position. I think was Yannick in front of me, he was constantly 2/3 tenths per lap faster than me and in 10 laps he was out of my sight. Tremendous pace in the front, they could keep a qualy pace for the entire race!
So for the rest of the race i focused on keeping constant lap times , and driving clean and smooth, the only thrill was when i suddenly found a lapped braby that was rejoining the track on the Esses, and i nearly dived into as he was transversal to the road, but i managed to avoid Roll Eyes

I hope we could have a full grid for the entire season for races immersive and fun like this Wink
