I'm sorry Doni.

In any case, I stop this mod, because I cannot driving correctly this cars. I'm too slow, I don't know why? I'm sorry.
With sport cars, I'm enjoy..

I prefer making concentration on mods 67, 68, F2, 69...

Wow! What a lot of fun.

I was pleased to Q 4th in the Shadow. One of the Lolas got away quickly before remembering the rolling start. Alain, I think it was you so thanks for dropping back and giving me the position back. First couple of laps were mighty fast and I had a good battle with Cookie before he lost control and then had to crawl his way back up the field. I had no chance of catching Yannick - he's in a league of his own in these cars.

Cookie caught me in the closing stages and he easily slipped past to take the 2nd spot on the podium.  I could see others not far behind on Prib so I was pleased to hang onto 3rd spot for the chequered flag.  A great start to the season for me.

See you all next time.

Been a while since I had an online race in these cars.
What a blast, thanks for organising this season!

I got a bit confused with the rolling start mentioning 'to the exit of turn 1', which to me translated to the turn as shown on the track map and keeping a speed of 100mph.
Tristan in front of me already went full throttle after exiting the banked corner (8/9) and in the confusion I reluctantly went with him but I feel like things didn't really go as intended.  Huh

Nontheless, I stayed with him and after a lap was on his tail, after which he missed the braking point of T1 and giving me free way for the rest of the race, I pretty much drove my own tempo throughout.
The finish was pretty confusing so I did an extra lap just to be sure.

See you next race.

Actually a surprise race for me, as you know very well here in Mexico, the races are at 3 in the afternoon (15.00) and on many occasions I have work, but that day I finished early and I wanted to run and I remembered that ukgpl had a race On Fridays, so I signed up and quickly Axel accepted me, (thanks cookie)
I read the regulations and chose the lola from group c and in the qualy I began to make a set up, which I think was quite good.
I was very, very satisfied with my 4th place without having had a previous training and that makes my 4th place taste like a podium.
     yannick from "ganymedes"
axel amazing recovery big aplasued for you
pete, great performance, all the race on track
thanks budies for that great race and still running in this category

Im confused. I have driven the Porsche. I chose this to try to give myself a stable and sensible car for the first race of the series.

it turned out to be hopeless for me. but as I have driven it do I have to keep this now as one of my car choices?

as an Amateur, Im guessing a faster car would have been beneficial.

thanks,

Yes, that's what the rules say, imo the Porky is a good choice for the Nürburgring and Mosport too...

PS
Have you withdrawn your participation from the 69 series?

Hi Cookie,

Yes I have withdrawn from the 68s and the 69x.   I'm not getting enough time at present to practice and I'm just not fast enough at present to enjoy the racing.

I always feel as if I'm in everyone's way.. lol. Its not really much fun being lapped every race and just driving at the back all the time.

I think I signed up for too much this season. I really should just do the 67s as a privateer and the F2s. I really enjoy the F2s.

I will be making an effort to improve my times and will be faster and more able to run with the pack in the next season.

Of course, all these races are exciting...
but there are too many of them! Between the proposals here, with GTL too and the outside championships...
not enough time and that sometimes spoils the fun. Roll Eyes
