Hi Clive.

What about me ?.  I believe I should be racing as an amateur.

I have decided not to race anything this season but F2 and the 67 papy cars.

Despite the few pilots the race was not bad but the usual problem on the steering wheel forced me to retire. The Fanatec have a very weak connection and with a minimum movement of the wire the connection is lost.

Had to go into the office today, so missed out on GPL. Looks like I could have finished in 6th place!

I was a little surprised if not very disappointed at the relatively small number of pilots. After a full grid, it's not the same motivation.  I had a good race all the same.

I made not many mistake, but the ferrari was too slow in the strait.

Bravo à David pour sa victoire sans faute!

Hi guys,

Shame about the small grid. But hopefully that made for good racing and a crash free T1.

I missed the first race in the series due to a family commitment and sadly I missed last night due having been pretty ill for a few days..

Doing better now, I fully intend to do the rest of the series. I really like the F2s, I wish we do more of these and the 65s & 66s.

I'm taking a break from all car mods this season except the 67 papy cars and the F2s. Another plus for me is the creation of 2 servers for these cars. All the PRO'S on another track might eleviate the problems I have with feeling a little intimidated when being bored down upon by low fling scud missiles.

Might for a change get some races finished and on the same last lap as everyone else Huh?

And as Billy said if he had been there he would have been seventh. So by my reckoning when there's eight of us I'm at least promised 9th.

Hope you all had a good night's GPL'ing

Paul

Realized hours before the race, it would come with enough space for some reserved driving.  So, chose a slower car and added a friendly setup, with expectation to battle more corners, than cars. Undecided

Surprised to find myself dicing for 1st, in the opening laps, but normal service resumed as ye dastardly opponents gained in pace, and corners became tighter.  Hense, spent race remainder flinging car against track, with variable success.  Ppenty of space now available for those who care to bring their fling.

Only a few of us, but it was pretty hectic the entire race.
I've re-watched it (also using Olaf's ReplayDirector option for GEM) - entertaining!

I'd accepted that Fran had grabbed pole by the smallest margin. Then was lucky to get a tow whilst running with full race fuel & managed to clinch it back.

Bogged down a bit at the start, but don't think I was the only one. Was aware of Fran heading up the inside into turn 1,  but we all gave plenty of room & got round safely.

When I could stay on track, the pace seemed ok.  However, too many excursions/spins/bumps and a reset at one point, all taking their toll.

Although we all drove different cars, there really did seem to be a lot of Ferraris out there.  Eric was giving a very spirited/consistent drive and seemed to be everywhere!

The last few laps & I was trying hard to catch up with him (again). It all came down to the last 1/2 lap & somehow just managed to slipstream & pip him to the finish line by presumably less than 1/1000 of a second.

Congrats to Mr Rainier for the win. Thanks Eric for the excitement.

I got confused, I couldn't remember which gear I was in and it only took a second. laugh

Is it not possible to obtain a new wiring harness from Fantec?

i could ask, but the problem seem the socket that connect the motor. Sometime, with inattention, the wire is in a position that can be moved and the connection is lost.I must pay more attention to not touch the wire during a race and to put the wire in a safe position.
Thank you Clive, you are strong in the 55mod why you don't race in some other?
