NoGrip Legacy HTC Championship 2021 Meadowdale Motorsport Park normal race event 4th of October, 2021 Great track from forgotten past. Server & Car Pack Info- Server Name: NG Legacy HTC Server- Password: will be revealed in normal UKGTL fashion. - Car pack version: 1.2RaceTrack: 1968 Meadowdale, USA. Track download: *DOWNLOAD*
Allowed Classes: Division 3 classes.
- 1600-2000 cc
- over 2000 cc
Qualifying: 20 minutes, starts at 19:45 BST. Race: Length 28 laps, starts at approx. 20:05 BST. Scoring: - Both classes score points separately. Winner of each class receives 10 points, 2nd in each class receives 8 points and so on and so forth.
- Overall winner of the race scores additional 1 point.
- Start in a class where driver has not started yet in this season, scores automatically 3 additional points.
- Note that you can start maximum of 5 times in each engine class.

Well, that didn't go to plan at all.
I had practised in the Escort BDB, but couldn't get either skin to load at all, so had to dive for something else. Knew Geoff had done a setup for the Alfa, so went for that being as there was now only 5 minutes of quali left.
Had my one chance at a flying lap ruined by being put into the tyres by another driver at the penultimate corner, so started from the back. Then put the car into the same tyres all by myself on lap 2 after making my way to P4, car died instantly.....Exercise in frustration only tonight....

One lap later I ended up in exactly the same tyre than Daz - race over.  Thanks again Geoffers for offering your setup.  Not only that I could drive some laps without any big mistakes and turnarounds, I was also about 10 seconds faster than in my private practice, but of course still 4 seconds slower than Geoffers in the same car.  |

And so it goes. After 250+ laps of practice, tweaking, and such, I spin out at the start. OK, I am used to being last, and then at the bridge before the S or chicane dipsy doodle, I hit it square on, and blow the engine. Can't get back to the pits, snd so I am out. I get really frustrated but I guess that's because I am still a rookie. Like the song goes, "Oh, well".  Quad-P |
