Season 39 – 1967 F1 (Privateers) – Round 3 – Lime Rock

For Round 3 of the 67F1 Privateers championship we will race on the Lime Rock Mountain track which was a planned but never built extension to the original Lime Rock track. The extension was planned in 1957 and while trees were chopped down in preparation, the actual paved track was never built. A pity, because it would've been an excellent track, on the level of the full Watkins Glen. The Mountain circuit incorporates many of the original features but the longer lap has a few more challenging corners, longer straights and provides an opportunity for the faster cars to unleash their power.

Unfortunately, a last-moment conflict has reared its ugly head for tomorrow, preventing me from joining the race. I hope to be able to finish my first race of the season at Zolder. Sigh.

I'm not yet registered for this series. Any chance I could join you on the grid for this race? I hope to see you all later.

I've just processed your registration Pete, you are in. At the rate you are improving you are borderline Works standard but there are some good drivers in this series so it will be a challenge for you.

Thanks, Phil. Of all the mods, I still find the 67s the trickiest to keep on the tarmac. Keeping up with Leo is going to he difficult.  scooter

I haven't set a password on UKGPL04_60fps so you should be able to join the Works server. The IP address is on the Works race announcement if you can't join via iGOR.

Leo has moved to the Works. He was too fast for the Privateers.
