Same setup with the Bellet than in private praccy over the weekend (PB 1:50.3),
but car was totally undriveable tonight  Sad - so I quit very much exasperated, after
I also totally messed up the start .

Race 1 was a better one with only two of my usual turnarounds.
Had hoped for a bit more but the NSU is pure fun to drive although
I also was missing some tenths of a second.

At first,
Please, start watching how many times you have driven in each class!
you can do it from ServerStats: http://gtlserver.lintu.dyndns.org
Daz and Matt lost both 4 points from their score just because selecting class in which they had driven already 5 times. Daz has driven 6 times and Matt has now driven 7 times in 850-1000cc class already.

This early Brands Hatch is one piece of tarmac giving really mixed feelings. It is really rewarding but really frustrating at the same time. I was totally lost with 1275GT in practice and even in Qualify. I eventually loaded Nurburgring Gesamtstrecke setup just before race started to find some enjoyment from racing. the setup I had originally was sooo understeer where I needed oversteer and vice versa, so I thought: If I planned to be racing over 4 hours with that setup, I probably have done it so that frustration level stays low enough.

After the setup switch, driving was more fun and that showed up in lap times too. It did have too short final gear, so I was losing in faster sections, but could not care much less. This was more about having some battles than the result. Smiley

Kurt, while you said the race was not that good, I was enjoying the few laps battle we had and I felt sorry to see you crash in first corner. It always delights me when Bellett gets picked up especially as the version in this season does not feel as fast as the one in previous years. Most likely due it's real world weight. However it can be driven very fast as soon as you know to turn that weight to advantage.

Couple of good results but very contrasting races.

First race was a cracking battle with Daz. I lost a load of time at the start, the Mini is always tricky to get off the line, & it took over half the race to catch Daz. Having caught up there seemed no way past without Daz making a mistake & it took until the final lap at Druids for it to come. Lapping Clive & Dan, Daz ran a bit wide & I was able to tuck the Mini inside at the apex, but as Daz cut back we collided & both spun. Daz got going first to take the win. Congrats Tony in 3rd & Dan winning the 850s.  clap clap

Second race was as uneventful as the first was exciting. Daz easily pulled away in front in the 1600 Escort & I had an equally comfortable run to 2nd ahead of Suti.  thumbup1

My apologies Nappe, I have got myself confused completely as to where the NSUs were in terms of class. I had it in my head that the TTS was the lower of the two classes for some reason with the 1200 being the higher of the 2 Div 1 classes, and went into the race thinking I was driving the small class car. My fault entirely, I was fully aware that the drive at Isle of Man was the final one in the upper div 1 car, scrub my result if you would prefer.

Oh, I had no idea there was a limit on how many times you can drive a car. I thought you just got extra points for a new class drive
I am more interested in driving a car I like, I don't think I have ever looked at points.

Results and replays now posted.

Please let me know if you spot an error.

Disregard any incident reports you may find in your pm inbox (unless it actually details an incident that is).

Apologies for the tardy results service; all my fault.

There may be revisions due to Phspok and Daz having more drive's than permitted.

For now on, I will start listing exact allowed cars under the classes to make sure that everyone who reads the race invitation will know what cars are allowed in each class.

As I decided give just penalty points, I will stick to that even if I gave a thought to not giving any points. But idea changing the penalty rule after the breach has happened is against my idea of being consistent and credible. (however, that is not preventing me to change the amount of penalty points before next event, so beware. Tony's suggestion giving 0 points due breach might be child's play compared what I have in my mind.  Evil)

So, for this event, going over class limit causes 4 point reduction to overall score.
