Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 1538s

Beholder is weaving on the main straight trying to break the tow - a futile exercise against Dave Gymer's Viper CC.

The first move or two are okay because Dave's a long way back but as they move down the straight he continues doing it even though Dave is now gaining pretty rapidly on him, and tops it off by finally settling in the middle of the track, forcing the Viper to commit to the right whilst covering up the braking markers.

Inevitably there's contact as they go into turn 1 and Dave comes off considerably worse - though he gets the last laugh as Beholder promptly slides off in the following long right hander.

  • John (Beholder)warning — centreline driving
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

So what's the decision?  Are the Academy guys invited?  If so, we are going to need access to the password   thumbup1

Plus, is there any chance of changing the Server to DRY conditions?

Don't worry Colin, I have just noticed my times were with no ballast..  Embarrassed

I welcome Academy drivers to the race. Word of caution, please: this race decides the championship title in NGT, the three leading drivers are only a few points apart and anything is possible. I urge all drivers - GTs and NGTS - to be extra carefull when comming into any close battles from the front or from the rear. We would all like this race to have in a pleasant memory, right?  Smiley

The GT is also very close, only 1 point in it.

Good luck to all on Sunday for a good fight.

Gd luck to all concerned with this one. I'll leave it to you masters to decide both championships and I don't want to risk messing anything up in a spritely G3 car. The speed difference round barca compared to the GT's will probably be pretty big.

Will be nice to actually watch Top Gear when it airs for once too!   Wink

I'm sure you will be able to compete using a GT car surely Freq? You have proven yourself more than capable.

Fair we don't want to directly(in a bad way) influence who wins, but we should turn up and give them a race to make sure they earn the win.

Us Academy peeps can only enter in G2 or G3 cars Kerr...and the majority of peeps here don't want G2 cars because it might interfere with the NGT championship. If it's G3 only, I'd be a little worried about the speed differential between the G3's and the GT's as Barcelona is quite a fast track.
And even if we were able to enter as GT's or NGT's I really don't fancy entering the last round when 2 championships are going to be decided, I can understand why a few peeps were worried about it.

Plus I really do want to watch Top Gear, lol

Yes, good luck all.

I hope it's all decided on the track and not by PC crashes / internet outages / irate wives etc! Tongue
