Beholder is weaving on the main straight trying to break the tow - a futile exercise against Dave Gymer's Viper CC.

The first move or two are okay because Dave's a long way back but as they move down the straight he continues doing it even though Dave is now gaining pretty rapidly on him, and tops it off by finally settling in the middle of the track, forcing the Viper to commit to the right whilst covering up the braking markers.

Inevitably there's contact as they go into turn 1 and Dave comes off considerably worse - though he gets the last laugh as Beholder promptly slides off in the following long right hander.

Well that was pretty nerve racking!

I really really hope I didnt slow anyone up, tried my best to stay clear of everyone

Dave, sorry that I got a little too close for comfort at T1 early on.

Got it all wrong on my own going into T4, left boots on the grass, lost it, straight across the gravel and into the barrier. Suspension ruined.

what an absolute wreaker of a race for me!

i apologise if i knocked any slower cars off the track, I never felt a thing if i did but lol u guys were in the way!
was loosing a second a lap from the off, get to half way pit stop and i have 35 litres of juice left... i take out 20 litres of juice from my fill up and with 17 mins of race left i have 15 litres of juice!!!

i think the slower cars should stay on the racing line as much as possable when being lapped!  when u guys move off line ur unpredictable... i spun more then once being supprised where you guys were going! my fault i spun aswel but it didnt help!

but most of all it was the heat that mucked me up! my setup was useless in that weather! I had taken too much out the revs to try save then engine when i should of left it up top!

anyway hope u all had a good race!
and thanks for all for trying to make it as clean as poss!

Had an awful race, felt like my worst of the season  :'(

Got exactly what i deserved from this race - nothing. Had been away for 3 days in possibly the quietest and oldest town in Britain and got back 5 mins before the start of practise 1. Just couldnt get into the race at all and with no pre-sorted setup was a complete gimp on the track Sad  The hot track temps destroyed what little faith i had left in my setups, i was cooking a set of softs after 1 flying lap in qually. Shocked
I felt embarassed to be driving in the Legends colours tonight  Embarrassed

Congrats to the race winners and season champs.  Cool

Going off to sulk...

Well done to Team Shark on the NGT Championship, we put up a pretty decent fight tonight but you deserved it thumbup1

That was the best NGT race of the season for me, I had really good fights with Bernie during the first half of the race and Shark for the entire second half. I was up into 4th as I came in to pit but lost 3 spots when I came out onto the track again, it just shows how small the margins are in this game.

Thanks to the G3's, you were perfect Cool

Well done everyone who took part this season clap, great racing

Well done all especially race class and championship winners.

Had a good race myself. I though I was not getting to race tonight. Everytime i attempted to join and put the password in, I was then directed to another race at Monza!!!!

Made a few nice overtaking maneuvers in early laps and made it up to 4th after enzo ran wide coming out of last corner.

Ran with 100l of fuel and was able to take the lead, albeit temporarily as had far more fuel. Baffled why I was about 15 secs ahead of enzo, made a great pit stop I though and came out 13 secs behind him?Huh

Managed to catch and pass Enzo and he was chasing hard after that. Think he crashed to end his race?Huh

Again I'm baffled how fast some guys are. I thought I drove very clean and fast, made no mistakes of any note yet I can't keep up. Getting quicker by the race though apart from terrible qualifying tonight.

Bad luck to Jon, my fortune to inherit 3rd place with only a couple of laps to go.

Looking forward to the fun races and next season. Hopefully I will get a full time slot and not a reserve?

Solid race for me. Didn't spin or make any mistakes but car was pretty slow on Med-Hard. Apologies to shark when lapping about half way through. I managed to split up your battle with Navern it wasn't the best place to do it and wasn't particular decisive so I held you up badly. Apart from that not much else to talk about. Had a battle with James early on but he had a spin I think and dropped back.  Congrats to podium and of course the championship winners.

Great first half to the race battling with pops. He seemed to have the pace early on then it switched to me and back to him etc. Second half of the race was a bit lonely until Nevarn but me under so severe pressure over the last couple of laps. Apologies to him for spinning in front of him and leaving him no where to go.

Had a nice enough race but had to pit 1 lap from the end and so go from 3rd to 4th. It was enjoyable though Grin
Grats to CJ on his Enduro Drivers Championship. Great driving as always. Great consistency with amazing pace. Unstoppable. Nice 2nd in the champ for Ruskus to Cool Grats to Leuven on his NGT enduro Drivers Championship and nice driving to TT on his 2nd place. And grats to the Sharks for both Team champs. Unlucky Legends Racing it sure was a close one in the NGT Smiley
Thanks for the season SROU it's  been a blast for me. Bring on Season 5 Grin I must say that I far preferred the racing in GTR2 than GTR. Some of the close racing in the season was great and I can't really remember that in GTR so much Smiley Nice racing all Cool

Grats CJ and Leuven for champ win.

Because of the hot temps (thanks for that  Wink) I had to tune down the Lambo and it showed. CJ was much faster. But what shocked me the most, was the amount of time he won around the stops. He was a bit over 10s infront when the stops began, and after we both did the stop, I was 40s behind  Undecided.

The G3 class was great to have around, really adds something, and it's good to have full servers again.

No warp PRibeiro when I lapped you, but you were wobbling the first time  Grin

That was hard work, the Viper had the grunt over the GT3 porka which worked to my advantage. I forgot to take my jumper off before the start and thus got a bit hot  Embarrassed

I got class pole right at the end of qualifying and lead the class until the GTs started lapping us where I lost momentum and Darren got passed. I could stay with him and that extra grunt allowed me to get the class lead back. The gap snuck up to about 4 secs when Darren pitted almost exactly half way through the race. My FL tyre was badly warn (29.3 when I stopped) but I soldiered on hoping the short refuel time would work to my advantage. It did Smiley I got out with a 12 sec lead which oscilated back and forth as we let lappers by.

It's about time but I now have a win against my racing history  Grin

What a thrilling race. With the teams neck and neck and the drivers so close everyone was trying so hard.

I was really struggling in qualifying to put anything decent together, then with 4 minutes left I went out with some large changes to the setup and it worked. Managed to take about 0.7 off my previous best in the session, although not moving me past the enemy it gave me a boost for the race.

Race started great, I passed Pops when he left the door wide open into the hairpin and then eeked a little tiny weeny gap out whilst Leuven and TT faught it out amongst the faster NGT drivers and Paul stomped off into the distance. Then disaster of disasters.  Shocked Shocked My screen just went black. I thought the race was over, but realised all my frantic wheel sawing had knocked the power cable out the back of the monitor (it's a dodgy power socket on the monitor). I could hear my car crash in the background and I realised it was just the monitor power. I jumped up, ripped the back of the monitor off and shoved the lead back in. Sat back down and got my barings. Worked out where I was, but had lost a lot of time and damaged the car. Angry Angry

I got out of the sand trap just behind Priberio and we had a raging battle for 7 or so laps thumbup1. (Connection looks good now btw yes). Eventually when I got by I realised my laps times were dire and I had to come in at half way. This was a change to my strategy so I had to think fast and get ready to have the fastest pit stop I could. I came in and my mechanics did a great job fixing the damage quickly whilst I stopped on the money to get my tyres changed very quickly. I had no idea how much time I'd lost in the accident, but it was plenty enough and to my absolute shock and joy I had managed to leapfrog Pops in the pits. I can only guess you had an incident Pops for me to make up that much time as I had to get damage repaired?  Huh

After my pit stop my car was flying again managing to dip into the 1:44s briefly, which was 2 or 3 seconds faster than I was before the pit stop. This gave me a nice little gap to Pops. Meanwhile in the team battle I was trying to locate TT over the team comms to find out where he was in relation to Leuven. Nev not long after came out of the pits just in front of me and I briefly toyed with the idea but he clearly had the pace on me and by that time I heard where TT was and if we just stayed in the same position the team championship would be ours.

By the end, I was really starting to struggle with tyres again, but I managed to cross the line just ahead of Pops and then I watched Leuven come home in a team parade past the chequered flag with Jeff and the victory was ours!  clap clap

That was a really tense race and well done to everyone, especially the Legends and my team mates for a job very well done. Grats Paul on the race win, well deserved.

A big congratulations to Leuven on the NGT drivers title and thanks for doing a great job to lead the Team Shark comeback to take the NGT team title. Also well done to TT for his great 2nd in the drivers on a close run thing. Commiserations to Jeff on the GT drivers title, so close, just to be pipped at the death by CJ (congratulations CJ!), but you and Jon did a great job to take the team title, well done both.

Thanks for an exciting season and a really great championship this season.

P.S. Best of luck to Gizmo and Picnic in the Academy next week, hope you can bring back a load of trophies for the now Team Shark cabinet.

Dave, sorry that I got a little too close for comfort at T1 early on.

No probs - I was probably still laughing from when you got tucked up behind me into the final turn, pulled right up in the draft, pulled out... and went backwards! laugh

I don't think it was you weaving in front of me on the front straight trying to stop me getting a tow (which a Viper most definitely does not need against a GT3 Cup) - seemed a bit cwazy! Can't remember who now.

Jure - sorry about the confusion whilst you were lapping me. I guess I came off a lot worse, I thought you were making a clear move to the inside and braked early and then realised you weren't as I sailed off through the gravel. Lips Sealed

Thanks to the G3's, you were perfect Cool

I was in two minds as to what to do to let you and Shark by at the end and decided in the end it was safer to run across the gravel. Sadly the magents failed to drag you in with me. ninja lol

Bit of a mixed race for me. I figured I needed the practice seeing as how I'm going to miss the NGT Sprint on Tuesday night, and pitched up with absolutely no seat time in the Viper CC since the wet fun race at Laguna Seca last year. Track temperatures were shocking but luckily they eased off for the race, but starting from last place I discovered to my horror that the mechanics had totally ignored my instructions and put hard tyres on the front as well as the back.

As a result I had monstrous understeer in the long right handers so I pitted as early as I thought I could get away with and still finish without a splash and dash and came back out with the right tyres and an improvement in lap times which allowed me to leap frog Darren in his stop. Unfortunately my little accident with Jure lost that place again and having stopped early, the tyres started to go off with 35 minutes to go, and I could never make any real impression on him after that.

The last 15 minutes were very hard work with the rear left worn badly and the rear brakes snatching in all the heavy braking zones despite winding the balance fore. Was quite relieved to finish without pitching it off into the barriers!
