Moderator's Report

Beholder is weaving on the main straight trying to break the tow - a futile exercise against Dave Gymer's Viper CC.

The first move or two are okay because Dave's a long way back but as they move down the straight he continues doing it even though Dave is now gaining pretty rapidly on him, and tops it off by finally settling in the middle of the track, forcing the Viper to commit to the right whilst covering up the braking markers.

Inevitably there's contact as they go into turn 1 and Dave comes off considerably worse - though he gets the last laugh as Beholder promptly slides off in the following long right hander.

I guess lack of time caused Shark to be left without a setup  Sad  (good move, Pops!).

I wondered what that old tramp was doing near my car at the end of practice. I thought he was just looking for food scraps, but I guess that must have been one your crew adding the understeer to my car.  Tongue Wink

Good racing with very mixed field, the G3s wasn't a prob really, I think I lost more time getting stuck behind the faster NGT drivers  Cheesy
Car was running in leanburn mode with lowest possibly revs so made up alot of time in the pits.

Reading S5 plans it all sounds good, interesting to see what will change in ballast, I think I'll have to choose one of the more 'occult' looking cars Grin

hmmmm. that gives me an idea. how about a fun race in which NGT drivers race GT cars and vice versa? I think that would be the best way NGT class drivers would get to know GT class point of view as per lapping goes.

Im sorry, but i have a contract with my sponsors, they only let me race in NGT cars untill 2008
LOL LOL im joaking.
Not a bad idea Jure. Smiley

Going into the race I was expecting Paul to be the main contender for pole and he was.
I had decided before the race that I was going to go for tactics and make sure I finish well in the points and therefore not even attempting to race Paul  whistling, as I had no need to risk a big battle, saying that, I'm not sure if I could have been fast enough to get in front.
I was trying too hard to be careful and ran wide a few times throughout the race, so maybe I should have raced normal and would not have lost concentration. Roll Eyes

I probably saved some fuel driving a little conservatively and jumped TT after we had both pitted. (I remember thinking about Schumacher's attempt to take out Hill after TT's failed attempt to end my race early on)  Wink lol

I could see your rear end coming round in slow motion so was expecting it a little but didn't have the will power to take my foot off enough as I was looking like I was on my way past, and I was hoping you would collect it Grin

I wasn't expecting to win the title(final results permitting) after the first two events I had in the Vertigo/slow/blow etc..... Shocked so am reasonably happy.(results permitting)  Smiley

Team Shark had less than half of the Legends points so we done well to turn it round Shark.  Cool (final results permitting)
Well done to the others Truetom and Shark on their podiums.  Smiley (final results permitting)

Congrats CJ, amazing comeback in the championship.

I'm really happy Ruskus didn't win every championship after all. :-P
