Was really looking forward to that, but in the race the framerate was just abysmal, and made controlling the twitchy Elise impossible. In the end I quit out of frustration. Practice & qual was fun tho.

Had a surprising qual setting by far my PB to start higher than expected. First standing start but it went fine. Didn't have the pace of Tom but ended up in a great battle with Darren and Zacari. Sorry Darren for the contact at turn 2 hope I didn't cut in too soon as intended to leave enough room for you to pass on the inside.

Got to go now, had an excited supporter (for a while she thought it was anyway sleep1 ) for the first time. She has now pushed me off the keyboard. Cheers Darren and Zacari for the great race.

time for paul to go now.... finally watched a race to see what all the fuss is about. Might start practising myself as see theres no female participants. hee hee. A bit of competition for you all slow coaches  Tongue bye bye, pauls girlfriend, Hannah xx

Not really a fan of the Elise's and of course yet another race with no practice so had to come up with a setup and learn how the car worked in the rain and learn the Elise all in practice and qually.

In the race was going ok, but then one of the cars ahead slowed badly in the left hander after the first hairpin and I had to brake hard which sent Gizmo into the back of me and it was downhill from there with a damaged backend and out of touch with the pack.

Anyway, not the most enjoyable race as the cars just feel a bit weird, not like real cars at all. Not sure they've modelled the Elise right, but I have no idea what they ought to feel like, but they don't feel very grippy wet or dry which I would have thought they would being the sort of car they are. That was an experience - don't know if enjoyed is the right word.

Didn't have the best qually, sitting 10th on the grid, but had a pretty good start to get up to 8th.  A couple of spinners brought me up to the heady heights of 6th .... and I was gritting my teeth to fight to stay there.

It didn't happen of course!  I ran wide, and dropped back.  After that there wasn't much hope of getting any higher up the standings, but a solid drive saw me come home in 7th.

Happy with that.

Grats to the podium guys, TT doing the Legends proud once again.

Cheers all.
