Championship Standings

Example Setups:

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

So is this race to be by laps and not time?

Just checking  Wink

(and I don't think it should be Qual 2)

Just did a leaderbord timed lap. 4sec from the fastest laptime of Ivan Hruska (don`t get it, previous week he was 2 place`s behind me en the other race 1 place in front @macau) Strange so much difference in pace.

Had again on Sunday a kick from a league race (dutch/belgian audi TT championship). Found out  detective, that i had some rare peaks in ping for only miliseconds (average 30ms but a peak up to 170ms). I`m playing on Wifi, but never had troubles in the previous 2 years. Yesterday did some drilling in the walls  Grin and layed a ethernet cable towards the room upstairs (did a test race and ping was much more stable, no peaks). First big test will be this race (more than 1hour online racing).

Does anyone now an overlay where you can see your ping and fps? Need to be VR capable.

It's one of those tracks where you have to push the absolute limits of what is allowed to get a quick time, basically as much kerb as you can get away with on both entry & exit of the corners. Not a track I like very much.

Probably going with the Mustang as I have only ever used it once before.

I've been practicing with the Mustang too.

But my GPU just gave up so it's no racing for me tonight  Angry

Have a good'un.

Tried the Mustang but the feeling doesn't like, tried a little bit the Opel and I thing that car is fast with some work, but BMW maybe is "easy" and balanced so I decided to run with this car.
After some change in setup last night I return to default setup with 50 lt that was rather driveable.

Good start and the battle between Meysman-Geoff-Bonni permitted me to gain some second, so my focus was drive with no mistakes, but braking is always critical
See you next race guys thanks!   cowboy

Well done Allessandro. My phone was ringing as I was trying to stay ahead of Pawel
I went off, and as I was expecting a call decided to answer it, so of course it stopped just as I picked it up  Sad

Ran out of fuel despite doing 30 odd minutes fuel check. Other than that I had an enjoyable evening with my BMW, with new PB in qualifying.

Wasn't me  Grin i had a terrible start together with Massimo. It was Pawel that was battling with Geoff and Massimo at the start.

For me the Mustang was the most easiest car to drive (probably due to always driving with the Mustang in the previous series)

As said had a terrible start fom P4 and at T1 i was driving at the back  Shocked (don't now why, but all of you had an amazing start).

First 15min moved towards the front of the pack, and after passing Riccardo, Geoff was my next target  devil . But it remained around 3sec. Some laps Geoff faster but lap after i was again half second faster.

With 3 laps to go i pushed the car more, and due to late braking in T3 (always gained some tenths in that corner). I closed Geoff towards 2.5sec. In the mid section Geoff lost again some tenths due to lapping of Bill. I saw my chance and wouldn't want to lose time and maintain speed, and took the outside of Bill to lap him (but off course due to that i had some trouble in T5 and became stuck behind Bill (srry for the bump). Was totally my mistake, had to take the inside of you Bill (but was my last chance to catch Geoff).

Congrats again to the fast Italians and Geoff.

That’s OK BiriBiri, racing incident. When I have two cars catching me I try not delay either car which can difficult without going off the track.

Good fun race, interest from start to finish.

Qualifying didn't go well, only got one clean not very quick lap in so started 6th. Got a great start though & was 2nd into T1 but on a tight line & Pawel swept around the outside to push me back to 3rd. Had a great first few laps dicing with Pawel & Massimo, which was resolved when Pawel ran wide at T2 & spun & then I ran too deep into T1 on the next lap giving Massimo a chance to outbrake me into T2. Ran 3rd the rest of the race but had first Riccardo & then Birger chasing me. Birger was maybe slightly faster over the closing laps so had to drive hard to hold on to my place by just a couple of seconds at the flag.

Congrats to Alessandro & Massimo, great pace guys.  clap clap

Disaster race for me..

This will sound like the worst of driver excuses  Roll Eyes  but I started getting severe pains in my right foot and could not accelerate or brake fully without major discomfort. Got nowhere near my practice times and at race start it got so bad I had to lift off on lap 1 several times on the straights, and eventually slow to a stop (apologies to Bill who probably wondered what I was doing).

Got going again but accurate braking was very difficult and I spun several times, so finished a long way back. A shame as I was looking forward to this one.

Congrats Alessandro and podium.

I have pain in right foot also found it appears to be caused by to much driving in RRE. So I try and limit my time - short practice regularly until I feel I know the Car/Track combination then rest it until race night.
