I take it Mr Frisky is an Alcoholic, never without his JD eh?  Wink

I have had no praccy whatsoever on this track, last time I went on this track was on the demo. I just haven't had the time since the last race.

Which is a shame. I am only one point behind Adam. Not that I would beat him in a straight race anyway, but one can always hope for a trip to the tyre walls or a nice sun bathing session in the gravel for ones opponents.  Tongue

I'm afraid I can't make this one - being dragged out to a meeting at a pub for a frank discussion of "Belgian front arms" Wink

So, I'll introduce my stand-in driver: Mr. Frisky Cheesy

Maybe the alcoholic cat a.k.a mr Frisky is the one who's been driving all along and you're actually the stand-in   Tongue

Lonely race at the back!!

Couldn't find a set up where the tyres lasted except putting hards on all round and plodding round!

Qualified in 14th, finished 11th !! Can't complain!!

Yawn!

M.

P.S Oh, Thanks to Munkez for visiting the Cat litter 2 laps from the end to let me through. Shame though, would have been a good run to the finish!

Well what a nightmare.

3 silly mistakes, first off roading in T5 then 2 silly spins, all on my own, coming out of turn 2. I thought I had good pace early on but after my mistakes I couldn't get back at all.

Well done to winner and podium guys.

What a race! I got lucky at the start and was able to out drag Keith down to turn 1. The TVR seemed a fair bit quicker down the straights compared to the Porka and that was the story of my race really. Nearly got up to Paul in 3rd but he always seemed to have a little spurt on to gain a few tenths when needed. Grats to Ruskus on his second sprint Drivers Title Cool
Thanks to SROU for another glorious season Smiley See you at  the next one Wink

Well that was nerve racking! Had a great qual and had a good race pace. Nev was quicker and soon closed the initial early gap I built. Didn't want to race him too hard but held him off for a couple of laps until he got a run out of the last corner and got me into turn 1. Was then just holding my ground and on the last lap decided to take it very easy. That through my concentration and I stuck two wheels on the grass and into the gravel I went. Has a hard time getting out so back down to 5th. Cheers Nev for the race and thanks to perdy and luke for a close run championship!

Off to pop open a beer as haven't got any champagne! Cheers for the season all see you at the next one!

I enjoyed that race! Nice end to the season.

Made one silly mistake in the first part of the race I got distracted for a sec and ended up spinning..Doh!

but I had a decent finish to the race, gained a couple of places thanks to peeps going off...managed to overtake TinMan and was catching buckie quickly.

Thanks for the great racing!

Bring on season 5!  Grin

well done to podium and congrats to paul for winning the season.

I seemed to be going ok in 3rd place heading for my 1st podium finish until maybe 2 or 3 laps to go luke appears on my tail from no where. I managed to hold him off for a while until i made a silly mistake and let him slip by.

I was too busy cursing myself for the mistake which inturn caused me to spin out a few corners later, i managed to rejoin in 7th.  Angry

Although ive only been here for the last 4 races of the season ive thorougly enjoyed myself and look forward to next season. Hopefully there will be room for me in the endurace events aswell. Grin

An enjoyable race for me, armed with a tweaked version of the excellent setup I used in the endurance race on Sunday. I didn't have a qually setup and it showed, but 3rd on the grid was okay behind the two 28CD guys. I was intending to just stay in 3rd for a while and let the two up front fight among themselves since championship positions were at stake.

However, once the race started it became clear that Luke was holding me up, and worse was the rest of the field were starting to bunch up behind me. The situation didn't last long - Luke touched the grass entering the final turn and it threw his RSR into a spin. I did my best to avoid, but a spinning car is very unpredictable and there was a little contact as I went around the outside - sorry about that Luke.

That put me in second place with Paul Richards 4 seconds up the road in the 360 Tagliatelli. Paul did an awesome qual lap given his equipment and his race pace wasn't too shabby either, so I was only able to eek about 3 or 4 tenths per lap out of his lead. There were about 18 minutes to go by the time I caught Paul, but his speed down the straights quickly made it clear to me that passing him would be no easy task.

After about 8 laps of following I finally got a good enough exit out of the final turn to get a decent tow down the front straight. In the end Paul didn't put up much of a fight - probably more worried about his championship than winning this race - so I got by quite easily into the braking zone.
My tyres were on the way out by that point but Paul had slowed so I managed to cruise around the final 3 laps to take the win.

The main event though was clearly Paul's championship win - well done mate. Congrats also to 28CD who romped away with the team championship by a country mile. Roll on season 5  Grin

A cut to desk top during quali left me with a minute to spare after getting back in..... decided to start last (well, had no choice!)
All in a panic left soft tires on the front and the rear which made for some interesting driving over the last third of the race, a few trips to the cat litter saw both martin and rob get by!!! ( will take you in the enduro martin Tongue) but not going to complain to much finishing 14th from 19th on the grid!

Congrats to Paul for taking the championship, will be interesting to see how you cope in the Masters!!

AND thanks to all Ive raced against/with this season, have had some fantastic battles and look forward to season 5!! and a big shout to those responsible for sorting all this out....... well done!!! rockon

I came into this race Carma, dont push it to hard.

Is that "karma" or "calmer"? Enquiring minds want to know...

Shame I missed this, looks like I could've had a good result. On the plus side we raised about £700 for MacMillian Cancer Support and got to hear a good performance from local band Black Ash. End of plug. Wink
