Round 7 of the Lamboghini Huracan Super Tropheo!

We've nearly made it back to Italy now, so we're back in Germany with Round 7 being held at Sachsenring.
THE TRACK HAS BEEN UPDATED SINCE OUR FUN RACE HERE BEFORE THE SEASON START!
Ensure you delete the old version from your tracks directory before installing the new version
.

There are no mandatory pitstops so your strategy is entirely up to you.
Tire warmers will be enabled so that we don't have to go through the pain of a warm-up lap and rolling start.

Eh thats a great track, very challenging in these cars, right rear tyre was so angry  Grin

Congrats to Tim on the win and Lorenzo for 2nd  Smiley

Sorry Lorenzo if it got a bit close on T1/2 on lap 1 ,  I watched the replay and I should prolly have backed out, but it honestly looked like I was more alongside in the heat of the moment... good race though, I just need to focus more to get the right result

Insanely technical is the word(s) you were looking for I think - But that late fast section is so wonderful in these I knew the track had to be included Grin

In qualifying I tried the softs again - a very odd tire but if you pace yourself on it then it can really go quite fast (Although Max went on to beat that time in the race).

The early stages of the race were very high concentration, both Max and Lorenzo were matching my times and were very close behind so I absolutely could not take my eye off the ball for a second.

Max seemed to have a few issues around halfway - possibly too-high tire pressures? - and dropped back a couple of seconds. This allowed me to take it a litte easier and not to worry about the odd dropped tenth here and there when taking safer lines through the fast stuff.

Well done to Lorenzo for 2nd, Max for 3rd and to all the finishers.

1 round to go! Some of you might be pleased that my current idea for the next season features no Lamborghinis' Wink

Happy about yesterday race, quite worried about tires overheating, so i decided to qualify and race with hard compounds. The setup that would have suited my driving style should have been different, but temperatures would have been a problems.

Grats Tim and Max for the podium, and everybody finishing the race.

See you in Imola

Have never really got this track, the whole first sector mainly and shown by the time in qualifying. But i have everyone to thank as in the race with people to follow i think i gained 2 secs!

Early on, at times i was just stuck following GT and felt quicker but clearly as time went on he disappeared up the road and ended up with a good race with Stefan towards the end.
