Looking forward to this, although I'm guessing I'm going to be a little rusty now.  Was feeling good for this one before we had to postpone it....will put some laps in tonight and hopefully I won't be too far off the pace.

Great car/track combo, although I'm sure I'd be quicker if I wasn't having so much fun laying down big power(poser?)slides all over the place..... Grin

Not used these cars or this track before so bit of a steep learning curve. If i can get home in time i'll join in but big fire near London has fooked all the trains and closed several stations.  Sad
I am sure our, ahem, efficient transport network will speed me home in time, cough  Roll Eyes

Don't worry Mark. I chose the track/car combo and I won't have done a lap until I get into the server tonight.

Bit of an odd one that; enjoyed the cars and the track but after an initial flurry of excitement dicing with Oilseal and a few others it went all quiet, only getting past Will and then Bully when they spun.

We must've had some fairly different gear ratios because I was much faster than Oilseal in the twisty bits and then he pulled away like crazy down the straights. Got past and then got sideways in the early left hander and he accidently tapped me. Thanks for waiting - you should've just gone really - I had no idea which way I was facing and stayed still until people stopped coming past only to find I was facing almost down the track anyway. Really enjoyed that.  Qualified last with a personal best 1:53.875 ....... after discoing ..... stupid game (I was 5th, with PRibeiro in 4th with the exact same time).  Got back in with 40 seconds left on the clock.  Right then, the first few laps should be fun!!!!

And the first few laps duly were!!!!  Really enjoyed getting by people for a change rather than going backwards.  Got up to 7th, which was pretty much my target after starting from the back.  There was a 10 second gap to 6th once I'd got there, and the gap never closed, and was at 20 seconds when the chequered flag was waved.  Similarly, I didn't really have a great deal of pressure from 8th, working up a 15 second gap by the end I think it was.

Nonetheless, really enjoyed working that Fezza round the track, thoroughly enjoyable.  I think that even if I'd started 5th I'd have finished 7th - great pace from the top 6 (especially the top end of that 6!).

I'll enjoy watching the replay though, really please with some of my overtaking maneuvers.

Cheers all - great race.

Well i really enjoyed the cars. The Ferrari was a fabulously smooth and sublime car to drive. Great looking and sounding too, even if it is in girlie light blue.

Was very pleased with my pace to get 5th in qually after only learning the car, track and setup with 5 minutes of Practice 1 and the Qualifying session under my belt. In the race I was banging in 1:54s every single lap practically. This unfortunately meant I was not quite quick enough to stay with Stuffy, but also about the same faster than Nev behind. So it was a lonely race as after lap 1 when Stuffy and Priberio made light contact seeing Priberio off the track I saw nobody. Slightly disappointing cause these cars are so great to have battles in.

Provisional results and provisionally updated standings available.
Due to a technical error on the new server, the replay was overwritten when the server cycled so no replay from server. Sorry. Will be fixed for next time.

Cool track, cool car, cool field of great drivers.
I believe we were 15 at start, GTL is alive. Smiley
I qualified 4th, got 3rd place right in the beggining, but when we were
at the end of that looooong straight, i was tapped in my left rear end,
left wheels on track, right wheels on grass (100 mph), just before hard brake.
I was lucky i didnt spin 10 times Cheesy (in 1st lap with such a wide track for 21 laps,
was a bit exagerated that bump to bump moment near to break point) Roll Eyes
But this is racing. Smiley
So, i fall to 7th, had some huge fair but hard fights with Bully Wink and Richards Wink
but i couldnt catch Simon, in time Grin
After this, i am happy with my final 5th place (more less) laugh laugh laugh

Congratulations Baracus, great win. Wink
Well done podium and that consistent driving Simon. Smiley

Cheers
