I have put the pitstop as 'optional', not sure if fuel/tyres will last 60 mins. I may add a compulsory stop for future races

In previous races at Sebring we used the 'reboot' version of this track (which has disappeared), i think FMG supplied it through drop box last time we raced here. I have chosen the RD version for this race, as far as i know it doent have any problems.

The reboot version is here.....

https://assettomods.com/sebring-international-raceway-reboot-project/

I've just tried the version from RD and while it looks ok and doesn't seem to have any issues it's a pretty sad attempt at Sebring imo. The road mesh is far too smooth and you can't go anywhere near the kerbs without bottoming out/spinning. Sebring is all about the ancient bumpy concrete which the Reboot version does quite well and it's tried and tested online.

There are not many boring tracks in US and A but this is one of them... Totally flat and every corner is pain.

Should we not be using tyre warmers for these, it takes several laps to get the temp/pressures to come up to normal range..  which is ok for the race I guess, but eh, qually.

Tyre warmers? Don't confuse my pitcrew with that namby pamby F1 talk  Wink

Tyre warmers aren't allowed under IMSA regs, all part of the challenge if you ask me  Smiley

Edit: might be worth in future looking at ditching practice session and having 30 minute quali as Tim has started doing on Wednesdays...seems to work well?

Great battle with GT. I slipped past after he ran a little wide and tried to keep him behind for as long as I could. i hadn't done my homework, so the pitstop settings had to be made on the fly. Result was too much fuel and tire pressures where off after my stop. When I exited the pits I was just in front of GT, but could not do the pace I had before my stop. Nice racing that was.
Enjoyed the car and track, you can good battles with others even if these are fast downforce cars.
