There's been some discussion lately over cars and whether or not to use payware mods...

Well here's a good reason to do so - some of the absolute best paid mods available are now going cheap at RSS!

The Website

The Store

I can't say enough good things about the RSS GT Pack, RSS GTn Pack, RSS1990 V12 and Formula 79.
I also have a few of the modern freebies which are very good but of much less interest to me.

Another way of looking at it is to say that for £9.50 you can have a very upto date version of Simbins original GTR Wink
The 2 classic F1 cars amount to less than 4 quid.

I'm trying to encourage the non-believers - I'd dearly love a GT or GTn series but it would be rubbish with 4 people! Grin

I want to believe, but I tried so many mod cars that were half assed junk...

that GT pack though, I'd race that if it drives well, and the 79 / 90 F1s

Having tested them(GT), I think 2 years ago, (without buying them whistling, I don't know how, but I don't have them anymore)
I have an excellent impression of them... thumbup1
I'm currently doing a series on GTR2 with the FIAGT 99 cars, great Smiley

But, yes, it would take at least 10 drivers !
There is a mod, which allows to line up 11 cars !

me, if it drive well, I do.
I didn't like lambhorghini hurracan, so I stopped, I couldn't drive, even slowly, and didn't have time, because of the other sims, to devote too much time to it.

so if the mod is nice, the cars are stable, I will be with you  Cool Cool

Being of a similar era, this proto car pack from VRC is also extremely high quality and very driveable considering how quick they are. They really come to life in multiclass endurance racing with these GT1s, which considering the numbers we currently get here is a distant dream unfortunately. Although not on sale they are worth every penny if you fancy some offline fun  Smiley

Get the GTn's too while they're cheap if you like the GT's.
I've been spending a fair bit more time on them recently and think they might almost give better racing than their bigger brothers - although they don't sound as good! Grin

I did buy the 79/90 and GT pack in the sale - just tried the F1 90, very nice car. Had a brief go in a couple of the GTs and yes they're decent so I think they'd make a good series.
