No update for me either.

Was enjoying that once I drove "Like the throttle was an egg" Had put in more than the suggested fuel
but ran out on final lap  Sad

Good race with Pawel and then Geoff after he fell off.

Ah, saw you slowing down there, a pity to end a race like that  Embarrassed Have you been altering the engine maps during the race? It might be that the prediction was based on map 3 and higher maps have higher consumption...
Nice race anyway, though couldn't make the car turn at all Cheesy

I ran map 5 very carefully for the whole race until the fuel got low. then I ran map 2 or 3
I think you are correct about it assuming map 3

indeed  no update, servers probably down just for maintenance.

Had an amazing start  Grin and moved up to P3, off course Meazza and Ricardo where faster and after some laps they overtook me. Due to my good start i stayed out of trouble and had a gap of 5sec to the rest of the pack.

I was also struggling with fuel, due to the pace of the Italians after some laps my calculator took 5liters off (due to an extra lap). So couldn't maintain engine map 5. Mostly my tactic was engine map 5 on the straights and engine map 3/4 after T4 up to the last corner. Maybe due to the reduced engine map i was more consistent with almost no slides, than in practice and quali.

Congrats

good race, I struggled at the beginning due to a contact at the start with Alessandro, then at the second corner due to blocking I ended up in the field, restarted behind everyone, a great comeback and I arrived in the desired position, Massimo and Alessandro too fast for me. I had map 5 always fixed. I loaded 85 liters of fuel and I have it left. Hi everyone

That was a far different can than i remembered driving a few years ago!

Brakes constantly on the edge of locking, huge understeer off the front end on corner entry and the back sliding a lot on corner exit. How did you guys drive it so quickly!  Well i know you were all using map 5!

Great car to drive until you want to go fast in it, then it becomes nasty. Still quite enjoyed it apart from a couple of major mistakes early on which dropped me to last place. Had fun fighting my way back through the field to  6th at the finish, another lap & I may have caught Birger. Apologies to Baldoni, I think I clipped your car as I passed you, but I don't think (hope) it caused any problem.

Congrats to Massimo, Alessandro & Riccardo.  clap clap Excellent speed as usual, hopefully in one of these races us Brits may be able to challenge you.  no

Yes Spanner this car is not what it once was, looking at previous events it is now around 5s a lap slower at this track. Does not seem to have the grip it had the last time I tried it.

Just checked, Riccardo did 2.06 with it when we raced here in Jan 2020. It is now very little quicker than the DTM92 cars, surely that isn't right.

Not tried the other Gr5 cars, they are, I assume. also changed. The old Gr5 cars were fast monsters, fast that is if you could drive them
the engine maps were not there before, and I remember them being hard to control out bends, not so understeery.

Mostly my tactic was engine map 5 on the straights and engine map 3/4 after T4 up to the last corner..

wow!
I was too busy to drive all the time to think (and remember) to change map also  Shocked
Map 5 was the way I think, tried first laps with default map3 and ok the was driveable but impossible to be fast, so after so many practice laps we have understood (circa  Undecided) how to drive without too much mistakes, and it's strange because must don't brake.. don't speed up.. don't turn.. it's all so frustrating  Cry
So often I was in low rpm in turns to avoid the turbo in the middle, and in my opinion helps to go early in apex and wait "in neutral mode" before to go on full gas

...hopefully in one of these races us Brits may be able to challenge you.  no

Hi Geoff, thank for compliments.
Like I wrote before, this performance is the result of many many laps of practise, the first day I drive this car I was on 2:15 for a long time before improving, improvement that was arrived for the correct lines and not just to "drive" the car
Unfortunately the feeling with this game in general is terrible for me and the only manner to improve is to run many laps (an hundred?) at least  Huh
