Championship standings HERE

Grid/server capacity: 22

Car/Track download available by pm to WT

Guards International Race Meeting - The Ilford Films Trophy
All Classes

Track: Brands Hatch GP (Early Brands)

Car restrictions: Drivers are limited to a maximum number of drives per Class. For more information please click HERE

Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins)
Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins) Drivers must not leave qualifying to change car make
Race: 20:40 (20 laps)

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal

Server: simracing.org.uk Wednesday
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: Avoid crossing the LH kerb after Druid's. You could get an unfair cut.

Hi All,

having great fun until the DQ came along.. Sad I never knew anything about it. I didnt notice anything telling me i needed to take a pitstop.

being new i missed that !!! angel

not really even sure what i did wrong other than go too slow    Undecided Cry

Paul.

need to get something dialed into these setups to help stop the understeer and allow me to trail brake a little.  really nice how powerslides and drifts are nice and easy to control.. nowhere near as nasty as GPL.  Shocked

Thats odd. You should get information that you have made three cut's and that you need to serve a stop/go.

Check in Options/Multiplayer that you have "In Car chat" ticked.

Meanwhile I'll check the replay to see if any cuts were made.

I identified events at replay times 72, 538 and 675 that could have been "cuts".

Things aren't working out this month. Work's crazy, home life isn't much better and health isn't optimal (why on earth am I already awake again at 2am when I'm tired all day every day  Angry ).
Don't think I'll be able to rejoin before the 28th but then this championship will already be over  Undecided
Shame because I was looking forward to most events.
The ole'wheel is not going back to the storage box though!

I guess I'll see ya when I'll see ya. Have fun in the meanwhile.

Had to leave early due to massive pain radiating into the left leg caused by a jammed ileosacral joint - one
of my known weaknesses.  Tongue Cry

Went full risk, using Daz's setup uploaded just before the start (thanks mate) and at least registered a new pb in lap two,
but wasn't able to concentrate due to pain.

So - questionable for Wednesday's event  Embarrassed.
