Just a reminder for everyone, the current UKGTR Donington track is altered specifically in the following ways in it's current v1.0 form...
1) Altered corner cutting values to provide better in-game cutting detection: a) Old Hairpin - Much tighter policing, no grass cutting allowed! b) McLeans - Much tigther policing, no cutting out the curb and driving on the grass allowed. c) Coppice - Much tigther policing, no cutting out the curb and driving on the grass allowed. d) Foggy Esses (GP only) - No cutting the chicane allowed. e) Final chicane (National only) - No cutting the chicane allowed. 2) Slightly lowered night lighting settings to make the track slightly darker at night. 3) Race laps set to max value so all races using these addon tracks run to the time limit rather than race distance. 4) Timescaling settings altered to be based on the max length of a UKGTR race.

Now the race start time is 14:00 for this one, can we use the weather and temperatures from 14:00 tuesday at the track as the basis for the weather file?

In theory yes, the person generating the weather file can now override the defaults to go back in time if they wish, but they have to remember to do so. I'm expecting to make some changes to the weather stuff before the season starts on the basis of what we've learned so far (particularly the very low initial temperatures which arise from us running races in the night).

Was chatting to MJ at online practise last night, if we get a good turn out this will be a very interesting and busy sprint race!

I can't see how the system does this for me I can see I can substitute my own values but that assumes I know what they mean and what they should have been 6 hours before hand I'll generate a weather file around 2pm and use that for tonights race.

I'm trying to get on to practice but can't. There is one person on and since it's in warm up I cant get in. It will stuff everyone else too and if he continues to race I will not get any practice

Is there any way to inform the only person using the server to come out and start practice again to let us all in?

I wondered why I was the only on practicing before the race. Im really sorry Guys if I had realised I would have of course quit!! :'( Can one of the Admins tell me why I got a stop and go at the beggining of the race? Anyhow still about 2 seconds of the ultimate pace, what the hell am I going to do, I need to hire me a race engineer, anyone want the job, I pay in milk and cookies.

couldn't get to grips with the new cut track parameters. Had some good little battles but lost them due to black flags. Had four in all at the ******* old hairpin. I only touched the rumble strip and doe another black flag. Not to worry, better luck next time I suppose. Cheers

F***ING LOST CONNECTION ..... Absolutely gutted. Started 13th, and made steady progress up to 8th, about half a second behind Buckie. Lost connection on lap 31 as I was coming round the Craner Curves. By far the best drive I've done in the GT's (not that there's that many to choose from ....), am really really dissapointed to have the rug pulled out from under my feet like that. Good racing with you guys whilst it lasted .... hope I have better luck next race.
