For more information please click HERE Drivers must take different car makes for each race. RACE ONEPractice: ~19:20 (60 mins) Qualifying: 20:20 (5 mins) Drivers must not leave qualifying to change car make. (2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules. (3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read Autopit="0" Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable. Special Notes: None.

One of the first tracks I ever played with - no idea if it was with GTL, GTR1 or rfactor. But this one has very strict cut-warnings. One wheel on the green run-off zones and in the hairpin leads to an immediate cut warning.

So, had to rejoin ABB as I cannot remember the last time I logged in there nor what the username etc were. Downloaded Tony, made no difference, track crashes out before the loading bar gets very far along at all. Happy to try the server when that goes online, but not looking too good. EDIT - Found the issue, now sorted, went in and checked the file structure and my install had not worked as it should have! Apologies.

Sounds like you had a mild dose of Clivid.

Anyone got a copy of Ducfreaks Alfa sounds that they could let me have? Can't find them in my archive, and the Alfa junior sounding like a Cortina just isn't right....
Checked the one in the downloads section but the link is dead I think.

Download and install the Alfa Sounds. It creates a folder for the AlfaGTA. Copy a Alfa GTA .aud file and put in the Alfa Jnr folder. Delete the Alfa GTA folder (not needed). Rename the existing .aud file to AlfaJnrSounds.AUDSAF. Rename the copied.aud file to AlfaJnrsounds.aud and your good to go.

Really liked this track! Are they all fantasy ones in this series? They're better than many of the real ones Races a bit of a mixed bag. Daz as usual without competition, so the races were really for 2nd and down. First half of the first race was a close battle with Chris, marred by a couple of incidents. First one was entirely my fault: locked wheels under braking for hairpin, hitting him and spinning him halway round. Waited, and we both kept our positions, as Michael arrived in his Escort. After a few more laps, Chris went a bit wide in a right-hander, allowing me to draw alongside. We were side by side approaching the double left-hander. Let Chris have the right of way, and he was well ahead of me, but then suddenly slowed massively, maybe getting a bad line into the corner. Couldn't avoid a tap that sent him into the gravel, and me spinning off, clouting the barrier. Despite this, I got myself extracted quicker than Chris, who was facing the right way all the time. Didn't wait, as I saw it as a racing incident; hope you agree Chris. Managed to hold on to 2nd for the remainder of the race. Surprised to walk away with 2nd as well in race 2, considering the slower Alfa and the presence of several Alpines. Race quickly turned lonely and uneventful. Grats to Daz for the wins, and Chris for the 3rds.

Like this track too, although I normally prefer real ones. Two unexpected results for me Tried the Kadett only for a few laps last Sunday and wasn't able to come below 2:22. Qualification wasn't much faster but I improved to 2:18.6 in race and with a bit of luck I ended up in 5th place. The Kadett felt slower on the straights but faster in the corner as the Escort - especially Matt's one. So I changed to the Escort for R2 and took Daz's recommendation to use the Essington setup without any practice which in fact worked quite well and in the end I won another 5th place. Too bad for the first one, which would have allowed me to keep the 2nd place a little longer, because you were anyway faster than me...And then, the front tires started to slip more and more... The second race was less fun, but the Alfa was still pretty good, especially in the hands of Daz
