Bravo to our podium finishers!  Well done, lads.

My race was a titanic affair for the most part with a hard job of staying with the pack and then fighting off the attention of pursuers.  I had Evil Clive giving me fits for quite a few laps til he finally wangled a pass and pulled away.  Only late race dramas allowed me to rise from a so-so P8 finish to claim a tasty P5.  Bad luck for Jonny, Clive, Bastian and especially Phil for having his engine go sour in the last laps.

Quite pleased to place P5 in the final standings as I finished every race in the points.  I never take any risks in these monsters as even a minor shunt back in the day could send you to the hospital or worse.

My thanks to the club for hosting and organizing.

Many thanks to Enrique for his help in restoring the Works Team Trophy to its rightful position in the SBRC Trophy Room. We may soon have to move to larger premises Huh?.

And many congratulations to Bernie, Fran and Christian for ensuring that we have a matched pair of trophies by taking the Privateer division by a healthy margin.
.

SBRC wish you all a happy and healthy Christmas and New Year!

A Merry Christmas to all in the GPL multiverse.

If SBRC are staging a revival then Mrs Fujikawa might be provoked into recruiting some fresh Ninja blood and resurrect the only known antidote to "the round eyes in green cars".
Her worldwide underground network of informants has raised the issue in a pigeon mail to her Mount Fuji hideaway.
The reply via Kiki Nakawaka ( her velvet enforcer ) reminds us, " All our victories are belong to her"............................be afraid round eyes.

Any aspiring Ninjas or Ronin looking for a home/team are welcome at Hiki Waza and will receive the ceremonial Fundoshi of Fame complete with white headband.  ninja

Not sure about the "healthy margin " more like "marginally healthy "  Grin
