I'm out all day golfing, with a dinner to follow so I may not be back in time for this. Please vote through the sessions as normal.

On paper a relatively boring race, if a race on a track with disaster looming in several places each lap can ever be boring..
Surprised for the first couple of laps for staying relatively close to Daz, but under no illusion that he wasn't just cruising. He did bugger off though, and by lap 6 had vanished from view. At this point, I had almost 20 secs gap to the car behind, so decided slow & safe was the way to go - all other races here has been ruined by those bloody tyre blocks. I didn't want to bet everything every lap, as I had 0% chance of competing with Daz, and almost 100% chance of it ending in tears if I did. With no immediate threat from behind, it wasn't needed or worth the risk - or so I thought.
For most of the 2nd half, I was running close behind Tony. Understandably he was reluctant to let me lap him, as his car was so much faster on the straights. He did let me past once, only to come roaring past again right after, so not sure it was voluntarily. Initially when he was relatively far ahead, it was mostly a distraction. Towards the final laps however, when I had gotten close, I was losing time in several places, which was frustrating as the gap to Daz was dropping rapidly. With only 2 secs between us at the finish, the result might have been different.
With that said, it's probably better the result became what it is. What I didn't know was that Daz was struggling with fuel saving the entire race, as he had failed to get the Pantera update installed. Would not really have been a fair victory, if it was only because I enjoyed a massive fuel capacity advantage.
Grats to Daz for making it despite the troubles, to Fulvio for completing the podium, and commiserations to the victims of this unforgiving track

I was stuck in London this week, got back 22:30 last night.
I am in Poole Monday and Wednesday, so will miss this week's races as well.
Week after I should be local, so driving is on.

Erling, thank you for the info you gave me after the race, it helped me solve the issue.
As has been said, I was in cruise mode for about 75% of the race. I had downloaded the patch for the fuel tank, but I was still short of fuel, by about 4 laps. Lift and coast, and low revs, using a gear higher in most places would see me get to the end I hoped.
But, I must have used a little more than I had bargained for when the car was heavy, and it was a real struggle. I'd have been better off flooring it and taking my chances on a short pitstop looking back, but I get stuck when I have a plan!
Erling upped his game when he saw the gap coming down, but I had just enough, 0.1laps left in the tank over the line, to take the win.
In discussions after, we found out that he had a 150 litre tank, I had 120. Aha. Other skins gave me 130, but nothing with 150.
In my investigations, it appears Windows was clever enough to know that I had a download of a file of this name already on the system, and added a (1) or (2) to it for me. In doing this it meant the patch was ineffective, and the tank had remained as standard. That has now been sorted, right after I cannot use the car anymore! I enjoyed the car around here though, felt stable and fast. The circuit is deadly for sure....
