FUN RACE

Practice: 19:45 (30 mins)
Qual: 20:15 (15 mins)
Race: 20:30 (30 mins)

Cars allowed: Sillouette (Free car)

Circuit: Portimao  Grand Prix (Free Track)
Time of Day Setting: 13:00
Weather: Dry

Start: Standing
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal
Pit Stops: none required

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the relevant Track Packs for this series
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.
(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

That thought passed through my mind.
But there is no 23rd event in Riccardo's series. So I assumed Spanner was complaining about the 30th
Do we want the 30th event back? or do we want another non champ race then?

I am confused. It happens....

So, I read the comments again.  Riccardo suggested a non champ event on the 23rd, and wanted to leave the championship as is
so Mid Ohio on the 30th. So that's what I have done

Yep, thanks Tony

Well Riccardo asked that his Championship remain unchanged and suggested a fun race in the meantime, was my understanding.

Great car choice Matt  thumbup1

Are they RL cars or made up by RRE?

They are made up. They are like BMW 1 series with 400 brake
As Mark says, they are not mega exciting, but we've had some good races with them in the past
I have used them, and Stephen has used them before, and I like them

I thought it would be nice to have an event where everyone can drive the cars
There are 4 variants, one is V8 naturally aspirated, at least one of the others is a V6 Turbo

Seems a bit abstract have no race the Thursday before Christmas but then to have one the Thursday between Christmas and New Year. Anybody would think it was manipulated by Mike Masi to fit in with certain organisers availability rather than distributing it fairly  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes Wink Cry

For anyone new to these (Tony), remember they have traction control, so set a button or dial for it. I find that setting 3 works quite well.
