For anyone new to these (Tony), remember they have traction control, so set a button or dial for it. I find that setting 3 works quite well.
Thanks Geoffers. I was wondering if I needed to set something up for TC. Can I use the numpad keys?

Check out the control settings in game, I think you can use a key for each TC setting or you can use one key for TC up & another for down. I use the twiddly knob on my wheel, don't know if you have one on yours.

That thought passed through my mind. But there is no 23rd event in Riccardo's series. So I assumed Spanner was complaining about the 30th Do we want the 30th event back? or do we want another non champ race then?
I am confused. It happens....
So, I read the comments again. Riccardo suggested a non champ event on the 23rd, and wanted to leave the championship as is so Mid Ohio on the 30th. So that's what I have done
Yep, thanks Tony
I guess the only post i had seen was for the 30th, I was really thinking that people tend to be a bit busy in the real world at this time of year!but thinking about it it does seem strange not to have anything on the 23rd.

I have lots of twiddly knobs, some are on the wheel, but although I have two buttons on the wheel for engine map I use "Q" and "CapsLock" for the TC level, I rarely change it, except maybe towards the end of a race when the rears are cream crackered

Assigned two buttons on my wheel to go up and down the TC range; very easy to setup So is TC6 10% the least amount of traction control?

Geoff and I disagree on how to set it up
The default is 1 = max, and higher numbers reduce I swap them round in the car setup screen so 1 = 20% and 5= 90% and I set 2/3/4 as a straight line between those extremes this makes more sense to my head.
It's part of the car individual setup.

Assigned two buttons on my wheel to go up and down the TC range; very easy to setup So is TC6 10% the least amount of traction control? Yes, as Matt says 10% is the least, 100% is full TC. You can change the values in the car setup screens if you want, so if a car requires a lot of TC to control oversteer for example then you can increase the lowest setting to say 50% & have smaller increments between each setting. You really need to run with the least you feel comfortable with as too much TC makes the car slower to accelerate out of corners.

Enjoyed that Had a great time dicing with mostly Tony and Birger Tony decided to re-arrange the front aero near the end and left But was a good race up to then. From a rear view, it looked like you could have done with more TC at a few places. Happy Christmas to everyone

I like these cars, they are always fun and can be set up safe (and slow) or edgy (and fast). Went for the latter and paid the price with a couple of spins. Congrats Massimo and podium.
Thanks to Matt as always for organising another great year's racing, and to all for turning up and making it fun.
Happy Christmas/Buon Natale everyone, and see you in the New Year!
