Yes, has been down for a little while (although from recent posts on the gplracer alternative forum, is being worked on). I"m back tomorrow, if SRMZ is still down & if there is not a better offer, I should be able to provide a temporary download of the installer or zipped track folder. Cheers, Dave. |

With SRMZ continuing to be offline, if anyone needs the track files for Tripoli for Sunday... I don't have the installation files, but have zipped my tripoli folder & temporarily uploaded to the UKGPL replay area Here(or click the "UKGPL home to racing" picture at the top left of this page and select "REPLAYS". The zip file is listed there under Season 40) I'm not sure if there were any later additions, but the folder does contain a number of .MIP files. Prior to using this .zipped folder, it may be as well to check whether SRMZ is online again & if so, consider downloading from mentioned links at: SRMZ linkIt's likely that the UKGPL-hosted track file will be removed once SRMZ is operational again/after the event. Now that Season 40 is done and dusted, would it be possible to find a date when a test of Dundrod 55 could be run, in order to establish if it still has problems when the track gap patch is used?

I'm pretty sure we had the Track Gap Freeze Patch installed when we ran Dundrod 55 because it is declared on the Season 40 page. However, there is no harm in doing another test. We don't need to run a race, a practice server should be enough but a fun race would be a better test. I can save the server replays and hopefully catch any discos so we can send some evidence to Jim Pearson. Client replays won't be saved because the driver will be discoed but hopefully the server replays will help identify the area of the track that is causing the problems. I'll set a practice server up tomorrow night and leave it running until Saturday. I think the next available date for a fun race would be the 10th July (we could do a 55 Fun race at Boreham on 17th July). Does that sound like a feasible plan? |

We are well past 17 June but I guess that should be July.
We didn't run the 55 version in season 40. It was originally scheduled but we switched.
If there's a practice server I shall try to give it a bash but I'm not sure about when I can do a fun race.

I meant July. I've corrected my post. I can't remember if we tried the 55 version in Season 40 and switched or just went straight to the 1950 version. I know we did switch in Season 39. Either way a test of the 1955 version is required. |

I think that we ran Dundrod55 in season 39 and had problems.
Hence the switch to the 50 version for season 40. The first few posts on this thread document the switch.
As Phil says, it needs a test with the gap freeze patch in place as we didn't have that in season 39. Well, I didn't.
