Congrats. on your promotion Pete!  angel If normal starts are to return, I'd like to race the full Season.  If rolling starts remain, I will not be racing.

Al cars were given rolling starts in North America.  No cars raced in rainy weather.  F1 went to race there and laughed when told a rolling start was necessary.  But, too much excitement can be dangerous for enderly folk.

We're going to keep rolling starts, but please don't let this put anybody off. These cars have so much grunt off the line that it would be carnage to do otherwise. Tris will vouch for me when I say how hard they are to get off the ground from a standing start. At the Nurburgring in S39, Tris took off and immediately turned 90 degrees right and ploughed into the pit wall, even with a rolling start. Game over!

The map will be updated with a red line marking the end of the rolling start each race announcement.

REMINDER: All drivers to remain in qualifying position behind the POLE sitter and not to go ABOVE 100MPH

A rolling start also adds a different dimension to S40.

See you on the track.

Hi Tris

The Elva built McLaren cars were also known as M1A and M1B (outside USA) so I used those names because they were shorter and the table looked neater. The engine size was the same in both names. However I admit it looks bit confusing so I've changed the name in the table to match the names used in GEM. Hopefully that is better Smiley. Sorry for the confusion.
