Complex include four different couses: "long circuit" (5495 m), "circuit of speed" (3662 m), "circuit of skill" (3580 m) and "small circuit" (1,7 km). Width of "circuit of speed" 10 m, other roads - 8 m and starting zone - 20 m. Some curves has profile with 1,5-14% cross slopes. The relief of road is hilly, with a noticeable height difference.

Drivers are reminded that Lap 1 reported incidents carry an extra 1 place penalty.

Unlimited resets will be allowed with no need to make a S&G in the pit lane.

Too bad about a couple of crash midfield coming to T1 L1, as a result Clive and me restarted last. After a while catching Claudio and Billy, Billy had a slow exit from last turn and I nailed the spot between Claudio and Billy, maybe Billy didn't see me coming at his left and we tangled. He spun along and my car was launched crashing on the rollbar in the middle of the straight. Clive that was following managed to avoid me, but poor Bastian couldn't, sorry all.
From then on started a nice pursuit to the car ahead and I had great battles with them trying to catch Clive in the end. When we passed the S/F line of the last lap the flagman dropped on me and I got scared and almost thought that was ended, but a fast look at Pribluda said that there was one more lap so in the doubt followed Clive that continued at full speed. The chequered flag was for Tris that was almost lapping me.
Too bad that in Q I didn't nail a clean lap cause in the race dropped more than 2 sec.

Grats to our podium finishers.  Great job for P2, Andreas!

I anticipated some grief in the run down to the Elbow on Lap01 and sure enough, there was some argie-bargie going on that cost several a decent placing.  Evil Clive and Fulvio were the principal losers.  Bad luck, gys, but nice to see that you both battled back for Top 10 placings.

I had Maddog just out front for the first couple of laps but soon, he edged off the road to give me a chance to pass.  Tom Johnson had recovered from his earlier off and came along with me.  For what seemed an eternity, I had this Cooper pasted to my tail never more than a second behind.  One significant slip and it would have been curtains.  My BT11 has a little extra pace and I used this to my advantage to hold off Tom right up to the last few hundred metres where in what seemed a valiant attempt to get position on me exiting the last corner and the run to the flag, his Cooper slewed sideways and lost grip.  Made it home in a reasonable P6 with TJ recovering for P7.  Good stuff!

Hi Fulvio,

i tried to avoid you but it seemed your car accelerated while on the rollbar ! GPL Physics !
Sorry Clive for the start crash. i was just avoiding a car and so missed the brakes.

Afterwards, it was an intense battle - especially with fulvio and eric.
I tried to pressure fulvio and slipped off the track with two to go.

That's what GPL should be... FUN  Grin

I was really pleased with my pace and for a moment towards the end of qualifying I thought that I may even start from pole. Tris put a stop to that though. This was a race of two halves for me.

PART ONE  Great start until I ran wide on L2 letting Andreas through. I spent the next 16 laps sniffing his gearbox. I was quicker but I simply could not make a safe pass on this narrow track. Some awesome laps and great driving by others on the track. Respect.

PART TWO  Cookie was close on my rear and he made a brave move up the inside and unfortunately we took a bump. No worries, simply a racing incident. This put us both off the track for a while but thankfully no damage caused by the trees. Spent the next 14 laps chasing Cookie hard. Again, I could catch but not pass on this narrow track. By now the tyres were cooked and I fell off with a couple to go. Glad to be able to ease off and get my breath back.

Very happy with 5th overall and huge thanks and respect to Cookie and Angex for such close and professional racing. GPL is awesome when it's like this. Love it.

Sorry for the contact on lap 1 Dave Rainier, I didn't know you were so close as I tried to hug the inside of the corner.

Great fun and close racing Doni! Sorry I robbed us of a close finish due to exceeding the simulated traction with the over optimistic maneuver.

And I was there right at your gearbox for most of the first part.  thumbup2

A little mistake of my part allowed Cookie get past and start chasing Pete. When they both collided I started closing on Andreas and in the last laps I was all over him but there was no place for a crazy move, We even got close to the leader for some reason.

Great fun indeed!
